My self-summary Propose an edit
I'm an ignostic
atheist. That's
not a typo. I'm into philosophy, enjoying the works of
Nietzsche,
Albert
Camus, Kant, and
others. I also like poetry and writing; my favorite writer is Stephen Crane. I am a
secular
humanist and an absurdist. I like to think, ponder,
and philosophize. I am a skeptic, blogger, webmaster, and attention-whore. I am a
libertarian socialist,
pro-gay-rights, pro-choice, anti-war, pro-Separation of
Church and State, and anti-discrimination (ie,
anti-unjust-judgment).
That's the straight facts of it, but let me give you the low-down.
I think a lot, and sometimes it puts people off. And yeah, chances
are, I'm smarter than you. Don't take it personally, I don't look
down on people for being less intelligent; I'm not elitist. And if
you are more intelligent than me, chances are you'll interest me
and have my envy (but not my jealousy).
Before getting to know me, people are sometimes a bit put-off by
me. Though I've noticed that I have a natural charisma that shines
through on first acquaintances, this can be overshadowed by my
eccentricity. However, people seem to take up my positions after
several serious conversations with me and I've even been told or
had it implied that I'm admired.
What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit
Probably less than you. I work at a liquor store until I can get my
act and funds together to re-enter college for a PhD (eventually)
in Philosophy.
Who cares where my life is. While I do have high goals for myself
(if you consider a doctorate in Philosophy a high goal), I don't
much care to have a "high position" (whatever that means) in life.
I live life to live it. If you want to judge me for my overall lack
of ambition, feel free; frankly, I'm fine with myself that way.
I've already seen and done a lot in my life, without even actively
trying to. I've been all over the States and overseas, so if I die
without doing much else, I'll still die happy. Can you say the
same?

You should message me if Propose an edit
You aren't a bigoted conservative. I used to add, "if your
intelligence quotient is at least 100," but I've come to realize
that MENSA is elitist and that intelligence is not so easily
quantified. The best way to know if messaging me is a mistake is to
simply try it.
