My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hello Everyone!
I thought I should update my profile so here goes!
I'm widowed, I have two adult sons. I'm a great conversationalist, have a great sense of humor, play well with others and get along well with kids and animals!
I've retired twice, once from Verizon in 2003 and then the Hillsborough School District in 2011. I had a lot of fun with both jobs.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Since I retired (this time for real!) I've Joined the YMCA, I go three times a week for the exercise and to just interact with other people. I've also started dance lessons, I'm having a lot of fun with that too!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Anything I put my mind to, pretty much. I scoutmastered a Boy Scout troop for ten years, I'm very comfortable in the outdoors.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My engaging smile, that is if they don't notice how bare the top of my head is!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Love to read Ken Follet, James Michner, Stephen King, Larry Niven, I'm all over the place with my reading. Really enjoyed the remake of "True Grit". Food? Hey I'm a bachelor, I'll eat almost anything!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I don't know of anything material I couldn't do without. I do like having my dog, Stella around though.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Probably all the real life thing everybody else thinks about! Mowing the yard, having the car serviced, don't forget to take the trash out, you get the idea. I also think a lot about how happy if I matched up with someone here on OKCUPID!
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Might be checking out local dance venues...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
If I admitted it it wouldn't be private anymore! Geez, a little privacy please!
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You've taken the time to read up on me and would like to say hello or maybe talk on the phone or meet..

I'm a gentleman and treat all ladies with respect. I also know how to show someone a good time.
