I am incredibly introverted and would prefer to keep my own
company. It isn't the best way to enjoy my twenties, sure, but
solitude has been helpful to step back and re-evaluate what I live
for. You can already tell how much of a bore I could be by what I
just wrote. What excites me are intimate and humane conversations
that I can share with another person, who could very much be
willing to sit there and patiently listen to what I have to say;
visiting beautiful museums that houses incredible and intelligent
works of art by renowned and prolific artists ; long drives in the
evening, as Alexi Murdoch sings in the background; and sleeping on
a quiet and sunny afternoon. To be honest, I signed up, hoping I
could find a woman who I can get to know and talk to outside of my
social circle--fulfilling my fantasy to have my own Before Sunrise
What I’m doing with my life
Aside from breathing for 25 years, I'm making the most out of life by trying out the things I think I'm bad at. Like singing.
I’m really good at
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I read with the intention to understand or to find an answer to
questions I have had in mind, hence I have no particular favorites,
but I thoroughly enjoyed reading the Harry Potter series. I
practically grew up with it. Some of the fiction that I read are
mostly classics, like The Catcher in the Rye. Sometimes I'd browse
a bookstore to find a novel that won an award, like Ha Jin's
I find it throughly amusing to read a good book as if watching a
David Fincher film.
If we're going to talk about movies, there are a ton that I love,
but there aren't any favorites either. The Sound of Music would
probably top the list only because it's incredibly nostalgic.
No favorites in music, either, but I've been loving Alexi Murdoch's
House of Cards and Game of Thrones are definitely my favorites when
it comes to "serious" television drama. I have yet to check out
Scandal, another political drama so I've heard. As for comedy,
Community tops the list with Modern Family coming in close at
second. Adventure Time is definitely something I look out for
occasionally. The Legend of Korra and The Last Airbender series are
I've only mentioned what's on top of my head, but I'm above average
on pop culture knowledge.
The six things I could never do without
People. (Be it family, friends, or strangers.)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The appeal of My Little Pony to men of my age.
On a typical Friday night I am
Patrolling Gotham City.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have a thing for Snow Queens.
