Most of the time, I'm laughing or partaking in some absent-minded
fun. I find myself living life through humor and good friends. Once
you get to know me, you'll see my romantic, analytic, and
spontaneous sides come out. I enjoy brutal honesty and blunt
questions(as long as your intentions are good), and do not get
offended. Music is my true passion in life. I'm not quite a movie
buff, but I've probably seen more movies and shows than most
others. Hockey used to be huge for me, but I think I can safely say
I won't be in the NHL anytime soon, so I settle for watching the
Wings. I enjoy jogging and working out a few times a week. Oh, and
for some reason I like dressing up and seeing plays, operas, going
to fancy restaurants, etc.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a computer guy with a bachelors degree from Western Michigan University. I have a job providing IT service for Walgreens locations throughout Michigan and northern Ohio. I love seeing the different locations and being a part of the ever-changing computer world.
Living here in the Plymouth/Canton area allows me to dabble in just about any activity I can get into. Recently I've tried out kayaking, rock climbing, seen a few comedy shows, and even checked out some nice museums(art and history). On a bigger scale, I've become a proficient backpacker exploring our country's many wonders. Furry critters love me and bears are afraid of my awesome manliness.
I’m really good at
Listening to others. I'm a caring guy who is respectful of others.
If you're telling me something, it's probably worth listening to. I
also play the guitar; something I've been enjoying for 22 years
now. It's just a hobby and I have no actual aspirations for it. And
if you're lucky, I like giving massages.
The first things people usually notice about me
People tend to notice I'm very energetic and always in a good mood.
I'm usually good for a smile and lighthearted conversation.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I enjoy watching anything good on tv(yes, this includes chick
flicks), reading a good book before bed, and filling my days with
music. Due to my current job, I've become quite the connoisseur of
fast food. I've never enjoyed red meats, so when I cook it's always
chicken or fish.
The six things I could never do without
#1 is easily my close group of friends that have managed to stay
together since high school. Anything else fun in my life just isn't
as special without sharing.
#2 I don't spend enough time with my family, but do keep in touch
and hold them in high value.
#3 Music! I have google music, iTunes, pandora, and a select few
radio stations playing around me all day long.
#4 The Red Wings. I'm a huge hockey fan. I used to play until my
friends began changing their priorities on me. But I still love
watching the sport.
#5 Countless tv shows and movies to keep me entertained.
#6 Michigan. What a great state to live in! We have campgrounds, 4
seasons, Cedar point(close enough), and anything else you can name.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Being an easy going guy, I don't find many topics worth dwelling
upon. It's either something I can control and take care of or it's
out of my hands.
On a typical Friday night I am
Finding something entertaining to do. Backpacking for the weekend,
seeing a movie, hitting a bar, seeing a comedy show, etc. I like it
all and like to switch it up.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'll win any game of battle of the sexes. For some reason, my mind
has trapped all kinds of girly knowledge in it.
You should message me if
I'd love to have a special someone in my life. You have to be the
assertive confident type, but still have humorous and compassionate
sides. I'm not intimidating and I love talking, so feel free to
