My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Howdy! I am here to offer you my own unique blend of intensity and playful whimsy. I am passionate, yet I gleefully frolic in the playground of the absurd. I relish the life of the mind, and I like to show affection. And I am polite to boot!

I would like to find someone who is passionate about something - it doesn't particularly matter what - and wants to share that passion with someone. I am seeking someone who is kind and considerate. Who is intelligent and curious. Who loves learning. Who still has a sense of wonder. Someone who can think and imagine outside the ordinary.

I am a legal aid attorney, and it is important for me to be doing something that is fulfilling. I love poetry, physics, politics, college football, film, rock music, other good music, going to concerts, and going for walks. I would like to discuss these activities/passions with you, and hopefully even share some of them with you.

I am extremely playful. The world is a serious and often harsh place, but it is also a glorious playground. I make people laugh (so long as they aren't humorless). Laughter is an essential part of life, and humor is one of the best tools we have for engaging the world. I prize wit and I am a connoisseur of non sequiturs. I love playing with language. I am a gleeful prankster, and I still sometimes sneak up on my friends and yell "boo!", even though technically I am a grownup and past such things.

At the same time, people often describe me as an "intense" person. Yep - I'm kinda intense. But I smile a lot, so I like to think it's ok. :) But truly, I am a passionate person.

I must say that at this point in life I am somewhat tired of the interviewing and auditioning that often comes with dating. I will be looking to get to a level of "realness", mutual respect, and equality pretty quickly.

Ideally, I want to find someone who wants to be in a relationship, who can show and receive affection, and who ultimately wants to become close to someone. I strive to truly, deeply know a person, and for her to come to truly know me.

I hope to hear from you!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am a legal aid attorney - meaning I provide free legal services to poor people or people who are in need. It doesn't make me rich but it is fulfilling!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Listening. Entertaining a crowd. Saying shocking things (when the mood strikes me). Deconstructing arguments and contracts. Kissing. Making people laugh. Maintaining a rational mind under intense emotion and stress. Understanding and expressing my thoughts and feelings. Making a lady feel exceptionally good during sex. Letting go and giving myself over to the holy experience of beautiful music. Writing. Teaching.
