I grew up in a rural setting, but for the past 7 years I’ve been
enjoying urban living. Skittles just a walk away:) I work full time
as a caregiver for people with disabilities. Although my job
doesn't define me, one can infer a fair amount from it. I believe i
am a patient and considerate person. I have always had a passion
for psychology and use it to help people when appropriate. I’m a
chill Irishman trying to go to as many festivals and shows as
possible while establishing myself as a young professional.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm really proud and excited about graduating from KU(BA), but at
the same time anxious about upcoming GRE exams and grad school.
School or the possibility of working/interning/fellowship, getting
experience. Someday I would like to work inside the American prison
system, in which i would i apply my psychological research to
create programs that reduce recidivism and costs. For now, I am
working full time and saving money for a graduate program. Oh, and
I’m really good at
Researching and writing.
The first things people usually notice about me
My dimples, they're quite large.

The six things I could never do without
1) Plans to travel
2) New music
6) Stirring my yogurt cup before eating
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Permaculture and progression of renewable/sustainable energy.
Earthship homes are AMAZING. Exploring old abandoned buildings and
ghost-towns. The past and emerging roles of prison systems. GITMO.
Creatures with unusual phenotypes as a result of filling highly
specific niches (e.g. moles & Anglerfish). Octopuses have THREE
hearts and jellyfish have neither a heart nor a nervous system, wtf
nature you're awesome. How neat it is to have a giant prefrontal
cortex that analyzes itself constantly. Interpreting dreams. 3d
printing, it is to thank for a new windpipe that saved a baby about
to die! How to balance wealth and stress, i specifically ponder how
much education i will need in order to live a comfortable life
without becoming a slave to a corporation, making sure my tie
doesn't turn into a noose. Actually learning to tie a tie. I've
watched a ton of youtube videos and i still don't get it. why don't
i get it.. it always comes out ridiculous. Music is also a focus, I
spend a fair amount of time seeking out new artists every day. I
especially like EDM, chillstep, electro soul, trap, ambient/trance,
blues, OLD country(Cash, Nelson, Williams Sr.)..
On a typical Friday night I am
Depends on what specials are going on. If there's a cool show or
drink deal it's likely i'm taking advantage of that, but otherwise
chilling with friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I lost my first baby teeth, the front two, scrapping unsuccessfully
outside of a wedding. They were lost in the grass and despite
searching for what felt like forever i was unable to find them and
consequently was unable to submit them to the tooth fairy.. fists
were shaken toward the heavens. I was left with a mouth full of
blood and no money on the way.. needless to say it was a tense car
ride home. I looked like a rabbit for years to follow.
You should message me if
I seem like your type, or if you want to know more about me. That
goes for faults too, this website asks questions that set me up to
seem perfect, but i'm not. Ask me about math and i will tell you a
tale of struggle. I see it this way, if we seem to click while
messaging we can meet up and go for a walk with my dog. I'm
guessing if you're messaging me, you live in Lawrence, otherwise
you must like my profile a LOT.hah The cool thing about walking my
dog for a "first date" is 1) Otis has a blast 2) There are no
worries of food stuck in teeth and/or feelings of debt, if you
believe there is no potential future between us you could ideally
say i don't think we're compatible and we'd go our separate ways.
I'm new to online dating so forgive me if i'm over-thinking the
