My self-summary
Before we begin. I have to say this. If anyone thinks that a profile is a complete indication of someone's personality, you are sadly mistaken. With that said, take every profile for what it is.

FYI: I actually live in Vancouver but it's the first time living outside of Portland in my life and I am having separation issues. The only thing that gets me by is knowing it is temporary. Though it isn't so bad up here. Just more "country" if you will.

I am a talkative, bouncy, fun(ny) person who is happy with his life choices. I have a close-knit group of friends and we would do anything for each other.

I like tinkering with things. One of my hobbies involves a computer called Raspberry Pi. You should look it up. It's pretty sweet. I built a pretty compact media server out of it but want to get another one so I can try to build an automated bartender with it. Just as soon as I learn how to code in Python.

I believe in a friends first situation. Who can really control what happens after that? Build the relationship some and then decide. All in all, I have my shit together. Good job, good car, good dreams, good friends. I am looking for someone in that same boat. I would like to think that the boat has just been loaded up and is ready for adventure but I am waiting for a co-pilot because only then will the true adventure be had. Are you that co-pilot? Where will we go?
What I’m doing with my life
Health-wise, I quit smoking about 2 months ago. So far it hasn't been too bad. I can smell things so much better now.

Work-wise, I do tech support for small Hotel Management Software Company and I love my job. I get to talk to people everyday and I like to talk so that pretty much works out great.

Long-term plan-wise, I am saving up for a down payment on a house because renting is no longer ideal and moving all the time sucks donkey balls. I just want to be able to make modifications as I please. Like installing network ports and setting up touch-panel media center capabilities throughout the house. Yes...I am a nerd

I am so nerdy, I play this location based video game which equates to geocaching mixed with capture the flag. Its called Ingress and unlike most video games, you actually have to get out of your house and discover new places. Like last night, I went to a town called Cougar, WA. Never heard of it but I ended up having drinks at the bar there and met some pretty rad locals. Never would have gone there if it werent for the game.
I’m really good at
Bowling, snowboarding, disc golf, movie trivia, video games.
Being a snob when it comes to beer and then not being afraid to drink PBR on occasion.
Camping whenever I can find the time.
Crock pot chili and cooking breakfast.
Engineering things out of Lego Technics.
Thinking of ways to make things work better, hopefully involving some sort of project.
Making jokes that your parents would cringe at.
The first things people usually notice about me
I have a beard. It can be very large at times. Right now I would say it is medium size. Other than that, I am almost always talking about something. My mind tends to jump from subject to subject so an ability to follow along is usually a nice attribute to have.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Since this is a list of lists, the list of lists is in order by importance.

Beer: 10 Barrel Apocalypse IPA, Boneyard Black 13, Three Creeks Five Pine Porter, Crux Imperial Mosaic. I went on a Bend brewery trip just before winter hit and fell in love with the beers down there. I could tell you some interesting facts about most of the breweries down there if you are interested.

Music: Lately it has been as such. Savant, Kubbi, Daft Punk, LCD Soundsystem, The Presidents of the United States of America, Disparate Youth by Santigold, The Lumineers, Of Monsters and Men, Jump into the Fog by The Wombats, The Black Keys, Alabama Shakes, Foster the People, Radar Detector by Darwin Deez, Passion Pit, Kaiser Chiefs, Noah and the Whale, Deadmau5, Dillon Francis, Zedd, Knife Party. Whatever sounds good to me on Spotify. I love really upbeat music. Though I can still get down on some Metal. Not really a big fan of Country though.

Movies: I love movies. I have a fairly large collection and have a hard time deciding my favorites. I really like Wes Anderson, Judd Apatow, and Kevin Smith. I prefer comedy and action over Drama/Foreign films anyday.

Shows: Parks and Recreation, Leverage, How I Met Your Mother, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Orange is the New Black, House of Cards, Bobs Burgers, Archer. I love cozying up with a good beer, a good friend, and some Netflix Marathon Action.

Sports:
NFL(Green Bay Packers and secretly the Niners on account of LMJ and The Eagles because of Chip Kelly)
NBA(Trail Blazers)
NCAAFB(Oregon Ducks)
MLB(Mariners but I don't watch baseball unless I actually get to go to the game)
MLS(Who else but the Timbers)

Food: Pizza, shitty Portland Chinese(It's what I grew up on), chicken Fried steak, Bacon(Bacon should always start with a capital letter), cheeses galore.

Books: Ok. So I just recently started to go on a reading kick now that i have a tablet and books are easy to deal with on there. Finding books that can hold my attention has always been a challenge. The last series to do that was the Womens Murder Club series by James Patterson. I think I read like 7 or 8 of them. I just recently read Orange is the new Black and liked it quite a bit. I just started to read Sherlock Holmes Classics but so far it is like reading the BBC Sherlock Series. I am usually more into mystery/thrillers. If you have any suggestions, let me know.

If you wanna know more, send me a message. These are some of my favorite topics to talk about.
The six things I could never do without
Aside from the obvious Friends/Family, Water, Food, etc.

My Beard
Upbeat Music
TV Shows/Movies
A Computer
Oregon Beer
Money for all of my million hobbies
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Why doesn't the Drivers License test take you on the freeway? Why does my Mazda 3 have head rests on the back seats if you have to remove them to put the seat down for trunk hauling? I mean, I don't even know where mine are now because I never used them. I bet I am missing something on Imgur right now.
On a typical Friday night I am
Usually at home with My roommates/best friends. Usually there is booze involved but I stick to beer. Ya know, keep it chill and still be functional the next day. Weekends are valuable. Though I let loose once in a while.
One of the main benefits of living with your best friends is that you don't have to go to the bar and spend a ton of money to have a good time. I call that profit!!
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 26–36
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating
You should message me if
If you liked my profile and I am messaging you. What's the point of liking my profile if you are just going to ignore me anyway? Don't waste my time and I won't waste yours.

If you have heard of or play a game called Ingress and are on the Enlightened side. Or if you are on the other side and want an arch-enemy. ;-)

If going to a brewery and getting a flight of beer appeals to you. Or if you need a beer guide. Or if you think I might like a new IPA you just tried.

Or ya know...you want to? I am not going to twist your arm or anything...unless you are into that kind of thing. Ba-Dum-tchhh

Oh and if the thought of making friends on here doesn't scare you, then let's hang out. New friends are fun.
