My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I wonder how can one fully summarize who they are in a paragraph or two, lol. Anyway, I'm a spontaneous, fun-loving, geek who's getting on that crazy dating train hoping to meet new and interesting people!

Want a guy who likes to take things slow? I may be your dude! I like to get to know someone and hopefully become fast friends first.

Laid-back is the name of my game, I tend to not get too upset easily, most of the time anyway. I love to laugh and tend to have a corny sense of humor.

I know some are into the Myers-Briggs thing. I'm a INTJ. :)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I have 3 classes left before I earn a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a IT focus. I love college but I'll be glad to graduate!

To pay for school + the rest of my life I work in IT. I've always been fascinated with technology and I recently got the job I always wanted: IT specialist for a local school district! I am so excited to combine my desire to help others with my tech knowledge.

Writing about tech for fun is also something I'm trying to get into.

I'm also trying to get out there and meet new awesome people and make new friends through meetups and other events: there's a Linux user group I want to visit at some point, but between school and work, I don't have time.

I also want to start exercising more in 2015. It's tough but its something I know I must do. A gym buddy would be sweet, I'm very much a beginner though!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Getting your doohickey connected to the thingamajig: If it has a power cord and runs some sort of consumer facing operating system..chances are I know all about it.

Overcooking frozen pizza..every damn time...

Picking the most depraved combinations in Cards Against Humanity

Mishearing song lyrics with hilarious results.

Not mishearing what you're telling me - I've been called a great listener and advice-giver.

Awkwardly leaving a dress shirt that didn't have a hanger on the fitting room counter when no one is watching.

Talking your ear off about cars. Or technology. Probably both. Maybe a little too much.

Oh..speaking of cars, I'm good at identifying them from a distance. Like scary good.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My name and how the basketball player shares it.

My smile, others think its cute, I think it's awkward.

That's all I have, feel free to lemme know what you notice haha.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books
Freakonomics - I love how the smallest parts of our everyday lives can be dissected, it's fascinating.

Various "Worst-Case Scenario" books - What can I say, I guess I want to be prepared if I'll need to wrestle an alligator on my way to lecture.

Car Guys vs. Bean Counters - business + cars from a legend in the auto industry = need I say more?

Airframe..actually..make that almost anything by Michael Crichton.

Harry Potter series - It's a total guilty pleasure but I don't care haha.

In general, I read a variety of books from biographies to business books.

Movies
Overall I enjoy comedies and horror movies. I'm also a bit of a documentary fan, stuff like Who Killed The Electric Car, and Food, Inc. are my sort of speed.

A few favorites: The Slasher, Pineapple Express, Saw I and II, Dumb & Dumber, Anchorman, Zoolander, The Exorcist, Avatar (the blue people, not the movie based on the animated series), Gone Girl, Divergent

I'd be remiss to mention both of the National Treasure movies!

TV Shows
TV? I'm all over the place but a few favorites are Parks and Recreation, Top Gear, 5th Gear, Hoarders and American Greed. I'm getting into 30 Rock as well. I'm a sucker for Nightline and My Strange Addiction as well. Anything on Investigation Discovery is a instant watch! Ditto Orange is the New Black and Locked Up Abroad: Why would anyone think that willingly strapping drugs to their bodies for a "free" vacation would be a bright idea?

Music
I like almost all kinds of music...a exception probably being some country music and/or super heavy metal.

Some favorites include Green River Ordinance, Volbeat, Marianas Trench, Trapt, Ed Sheeran, Matt Wertz, Fall Out Boy, Sparks The Rescue, Rihanna, Trey Songz, The Offspring, Blink-182, Yellowcard, Rise Against, Nine Inch Nails, Seether, Three Days Grace, Tycho, and Cage The Elephant.

I also listen to a wide variety of podcasts. "The Smoking Tire," "TWiT," "This American Life," "How Did This Get Made?,""Sick and Wrong" and the "Autoblog Podcast" are a few of my favorites.

Food
I love food, admittedly more of the bad for you stuff than the good, but that's changing. I'll try anything once though! Oh and Nutella = amazing! I'd like to think I could follow a recipe well!

Ok so I don't like ranch dressing.....blech. That's about it though!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Physical books, there's a certain charm that's lost with digital books/magazine
2. Warm, clean sheets fresh from the dryer
3. A fresh breeze on a spring day
4. The color orange
5. Q-tips...and they must be name-brand
6. Possibly you?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What cool stuff I want to do in my life

Is sour cream really sour?

Why is trawling eBay for cool cars that I'll never buy so satisfying?

To gym...or not to gym?

My fear of financial calculators

Why I didn't get in on Bitcoin?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either spending some much needed alone time at home (I don't mind solitude sometimes) or catching up with friends and family. I'm not much of a partier, although I certainly don't mind doing it.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Practically anything! I'm an open book, ask away.
