i have been a professional in the broadcasting, journalism, and insurance industries. i have also managed a record store, been a car salesman, and answered calls at a nationwide 800 customer service number! currently, i am running my own (very) small business, and have a part-time hourly job as well. i have always enjoyed jobs with people as the focus of my activity, not just blindly adding to the profits of corporate fat cats.

Favorite Books: Rolling Stone (lifetime subscriber), The Ethical Slut, David Sedaris, Maureen Dowd, old issues of the original National Lampoon. Now, frankly, i really don't have time to do a lot of reading, but i also consider listening to some Public Radio shows, like This American Life, as a reasonable substitute. Literary fast food, if you will!

Favorite Movies: Slumdog Millionaire, Religulous, Glengarry Glen Ross. I NEVER will watch a movie just based on advertising. If it looks good, it simply means that the TRAILER is good, not that the movie is!

Favorite Music: Obscure oldies (specifically, cut and paste this link for a list of examples: http://kfog.com/PROGRAMMING/1010.aspx ), most anything you'd hear on KFOG, WSM, The World Cafe' or Little Steven's Underground Garage, Dr. Demento, Todd Rundgren, Nellie McKay, Carlene Carter. I love the random-ness of radio! And have you heard the show Bob Dylan does on XM? Extremely unique! It's prose from the mind that created all that poetry for my generation!

I have quite simple tastes in food...Little Caesers Deep Dish Pizza, Wendy's Double Stacks (with no pickles or onions) and Sausage McMuffins are my normal fare. I also really like Chinese and Mexican.

oxygen, water, warmth, shelter from the elements, other people to share skills that i don't have, and an outlet where i can plug in my Hitachi Magic Wand!

how i can help people by doing things that i'm good at

usually in front on the TV, chilling with Marla in my arms! We are able to entertain overnight company from time to time, especially if we're all compatible enough to share our king side bed!!!

well, there's not much i'm NOT willing to admit...

I am a big package. Meaning, there's a lot of diverse material inside of me, and if you dig deeply enough, you're bound to find SOMETHING you don't like (if you even get past my advanced age and looks)!

And just in case they are immediate "stop signs", you should probably know a few things: time is an issue with us, because in addition to me working 2 jobs, we have children and we will NOT schedule adult fun if something's going on with them! also...we're also nudist (see my profile at rickjacks.nudistspace.org), we're VERY attracted to women who are not "classic" beauties, and in fact, the things that are generally considered "flaws" physically are the things that we consider make a woman most attractive! we are especially attracted to other non-conformists, and, speaking for myself now, if you reject "common knowledge" such as that you MUST shave your pits and legs, you MUST have tattoos or piercings, and/or you MUST wear makeup and jewelry, i may fall in love on the spot!!!
