I'm looking for my last first date.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Enjoying it as much as possible. I work when I have to, and play when I can. I plan on working at least a couple more years before I retire, which will be in Oregon somewhere where the fishing and camping is good. I do volunteer work with Veterans groups and am a member of the Southern Oregon Veterans Consumer Council.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Having fun, and finding ways to have fun when stuck doing boring, but necessary tasks. I'm pretty good at reading people, but then almost everyone claims that. I'm good at my job, but I'm better when I'm off the job. I'm good at research and can almost always track down whoever or whatever I'm after. I'm a good cook, but seldom get fancy just for myself.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I really don't know. I've been told my eyes, but I just don't know.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I read alot, at least a book or 2 a week. Over the years I've read some classics...Hugo, Defore, Dressler, Dumas, Stienbeck, London, Melville, Hemingway, Twain... lately I tend to read alot of John Sanford, Dean Koontz, Dale Brown, Michael Connely, Brian Haig ( bubble gum for the brain, I know) and also alot of nonfiction and American history, particularly the civil war. " A river runs thru it" is one of my favorite movies. Music...lately I've been listening to alot of old Folk Music...The Chad Mitchell Trio, Carol King, but I also like old school rock, some country. even more recently jazz and blues have started to sound good to me. I tend to have phases. Country sounds good for awhile, then it will be easy listening, then maybe classic rock. If you looked at my CD collection you would probably think it is several different peoples, all thrown together. I eat most everything with a few exceptions, curry being one of them. I like to cook and BBQ, make a great chicken stew and casole'
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Besides the obvious life sustaining needs I would say my optimism for the future, other people, my ability to work, have fun, coffee, books, an occasional morning on a river with a fly rod in hand
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I don't obsess about anything. I think about alot of different things, and then focus on what ever sparks my interest.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either at home relaxing or heading out of town for the weekend. friday night or maybe saturday would be the night I prepare a fancy meal for myself. Love lobster, king crab and I make a killer spagetti sauce in the crockpot.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
You'll have to get to know me to learn that kind of stuff.

If you like to have fun, are in it for the journey and not the adventure, are interested in new experiences and you are looking for your last first date. If you think I might be a guy you can feel comfortable with, let me know. I want to meet you.
