Atheism, and very serious about it
Libra, but it doesn’t matter
Graduated from university
Has a kid, and might want more

My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm looking for someone to spend my free evenings with, hopefully someone with some shared interests. I find intelligence a turn-on.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Raising my daughter, working hard, trying to build a nest egg for retirement.

I'd like to do more traveling.

I run a side business in my free time where I buy/sell antiques and collectibles, so I go to a lot of auctions. I love finding cool vintage treasures.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I have a lot of patience. It comes in handy when you have a 5 year old. I tend to be a calm, mellow, laid back person. I don't like to fight, and I hate drama.

I've always been good with technology. Whether it's hardware or software, I can figure it out, which is probably why I work a tech job at a software company despite having a degree in English.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I tend to be a bit shy at first, but I talk a lot after I get to know someone.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Music: I've got satellite radio in my car but mainly listen to the comedy station. I like oldies, 80s, old school hip hop, alt rock, and just about anything but country.

Books: I like non-fiction, sci-fi, and classics. I read a lot of graphic novels and work related non-fiction these days.

Video Games: I play a lot of Wii U with my daughter and also have a PS3, Steam account, and 3DS.

Hobbies: Garage sales, auctions, flea markets, comic books, sci-fi, TV, movies, collecting, antiques, camping, reading, writing, fishing.

Long term goal: Open my own antique/collectibles shop when I retire.

Travel: I've been to large chunks of the U.S. and Canada, but I hope to do some overseas travel soon.

TV Shows I like: Flash, Gotham, Doctor Who, Big Bang Theory, The Daily Show, Workaholics, South Park, Simpsons, Family Guy, American Dad, Bob's Burgers, Falling Skies, Adventure Time, Pawn Stars, Storage Wars, Lost Girl, The Walking Dead.
Also watch cartoons my daughter likes, so I'm excited that I just got her hooked on Duck Tales. It's such a better cartoon than Littlest Pet Shop and the other cartoons out today that she likes. I don't see how grown men enjoy My Little Pony. I watch it against my will on rare occasions.

Movies: Sci-Fi, Comedy, Horror. Off the top of my head, some all-time favorites are anything by Kevin Smith, Ghostbusters, Pee Wee's Big Adventure, just about any super hero movie, Tim Burton movies, Superman (1978).

Games: I like board games, card games, and video games. I don't like shooting games or sports games though, I mostly stick to puzzle games.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My daughter, the Interwebs, smart phone, a car (public transportation sucks in Indy), lots of storage space, bit torrent.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Life, the universe and everything. My daughter's future. Whether there's intelligent life out there in the Universe (or here on Earth for that matter).
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
At a collectibles auction buying stuff to resell, at a movie, eating out at a Mexican restaurant, or suffering through an evening at Bounce & Play or wherever my daughter talked me into taking her.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I was scared of E.T. when I was a kid.
