My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Technology is my occupation. Literature, my preoccupation. Give me a good narrative any day of the week, I don't care if you wrap it up in a book, movie, TV show, video game, or webcomic.
I'm an introvert but not shy. I take my time when making friends and like to keep the good ones around.
I have been influenced by too many value systems and lifestyles (East/West, Gay/Hetero-normative, Mainstream/Geek etc) to consider any one of them definitive of a "normal life". I think life is what you make of it and these times are particularly exciting.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am an Engineering graduate by day and a gamer and reader by night.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
- Not avoiding the comments sections of webpages.

- Coding.

- Hosting boardgames events at my place.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
A list of my favorite books would be too long for this page. I grew up on Enid Blyton and Agatha Christie. I devoured Tolkien, Rowling and C. S. Lewis during my early teens. In my mid to late teens, I found "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance" and used its sequel "Lila" to frame my intellectual thinking. I admire Guy Gavriel Kay, especially for "Ysabel", and Miriam Toews for "A Complicated Kindness". I have read a few classics too, the most memorable of which are "The Magic Mountain", "Pride and Prejudice" and "Vanity Fair: A Novel without a Hero".

Big Fish
Pan's Labyrinth
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Black (Bollywood movie)

TV Shows:
Arrested Development
Avatar: The Last Airbender
Being Erica
Cowboy Bebop
Currently hooked on "Episodes".

Video Games:
Dragon Age
Age of Wonders
Kingdom Hearts
Super Hexagon

Board Games:
We didn't play test this at all
Last Night on Earth

Music: My tastes are quite pliable in this department.

Food: Italian, Indian and Thai cuisines rank at the top. Others depend on the restaurant.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
- Time set aside for introspection.
- Meaningful conversation.
- Playing board-games with friends.
- Meaningful shows that make me think [like "Being Erica" and "Avatar: The Last Airbender"].
- Good food.
- Good books.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I love to "concoct elaborate fantasy scenarios" in which I am the lead character :D

I sometimes struggle with and sometimes come to terms with the related ideas of Identity (what qualifies as "I"?) and Transience (is any thing permanent?). And I wouldn't be the first person to day dream about a hopeless romance either.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Having dinner and a movie (or two) with friends.
Video gaming with friends or by myself.
Or reading.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
is that I think it is okay to talk to a math problem IF there is no one else around AND it helps you solve it.
