I haven't been around the world, but traveled enough to see that we have life very good here in the US. People's struggles change from place to place. Ours are minute compared to the many throughout the world. It's a reality that I feel we take for granted and don't truly understand the affects of our consumerism here in the states.
I used to think that I had it all, but with a flip of the switch, I lost it all. It made me realize that life is not what it always seems and it's always changing. Life's too short and there's too much right outside our doors to discover. I thank the Universe, God, Allah, Mother Earth, whoever or whatever it was that changed the path I was on and the mindset I had. It brought me to this moment in my life. The here and now. The live love, life. This is all we truly have and all we really need. I've learned how to adapt and be ready for change at any moment. Accepting change and embracing the adventures ahead. Only through change can we grow.
I'm a happy person that's rarely sad or angry. I'm pretty optimistic and somewhat of a realist. I like to be outside and discover new things, to be able to explore. Although I enjoy being stable, I have a little bit of a wanderlust heart. I have a big heart full of love and compassion. I'm trusting and usually have a good sense of people when I meet them. I like to give hugs and connect with others on a spiritual emotional level. I'm easy to get along with and make friends easily. I like to find happiness and joy in the little things.
