Close your eyes and imagine you're in a jam-packed auditorium completely hushed in a blanket of silence... You're standing behind the podium and you don't know what you're going to say. Everything's riding on your words, your stature, your ability to 'be real'...

Lol. Writing my profile reminds me of that moment...

I used to fall apart and get weak at the knees... But after embarrassing myself in one too many speaking contests, I told an impromptu story about chasing a phantom across the universe... A phantom that turned out to be me. The audience erupted in applause and I won the competition. After a few more times, I learned how to ride the wave of excitement, and I completely fell in love with the process.

Still chasing my phantoms and I've got a way to go. But they're just not as scary anymore...I also started teaching others how to chase some phantoms of their own. By day, I analyze hedge fund risk at a bank... but in my off-time I work with a base of clients and friends who know me as a motivational coach - It's definitely what I'm most passionate about.

Work keeps me busy, but I keep from becoming strung out by balancing it with beach weekends in the summertime, snowboarding and exploring warm places in the wintertime, volunteering, exercise, and making a ton of time for family and friends.

Hitting the gym 3x a week... And don't forget carrying heavy stuff, pulling out chairs and opening car doors ;)

I would have said that I'm a 'pirate' but ever since I got rid of the eye patch, shaved off the dread locks and my talking parrot flew away, it hasn't come up...

Time with my family. My friends who I've known since before I can remember. Music. Any kind of exercise. New York Giants. Exploring a new place overseas.

My next trip overseas... How about a last minute flight somewhere tropical... Or a couple weeks in Australia? (I lived there 6 months and I'd love to spend more time in my haunts there).

There's never a typical friday night, but you might find me at Japanese bbq.. Maybe a fancy cocktail lounge. Checking out a new bar . Relaxing with a good movie. In Union Square. Shooting Pool or heading off for a weekend down the Shore.

If you're always up for checking out a live show or new music venue around the city. You're active, love to exercise... You're adventurous when it comes to travel. You know the taste of fine wine, and you wouldn't blink an eye if I asked you make a last minute trip to the beach with me for the weekend...
