My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
OK - this is my umteenth profile re-write. And I still have a sense of humor about trying to capture the vast inner spaces between the molecules of me. . .

Relationships are my most profound teachers. And, I am grateful that in every decade of my life I have had some wonderful teachers - family and friends, lovers, husbands three (twice divorced and once widowed), mentors and mentees, healers and clients. I've invested a lot in learning communication skills to keep opening my heart to the gifts of all these relationships.

A bit about multi-faceted me: I am writer, poet, artist, self-employed part-time entrepreneur, grateful for my social security check, nature-lover, mom of a wonderful mid-twenties gay thespian son; whole foods cookbook author, healing-energy practitioner and spontaneous, holistic, out-of-the-box thinker, designer, non-profit board member; deep listener, lover of awareness, fascinated by the mind/body/spirit connection and the mysteries that are so big that only meditation can begin to traverse them.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I lead women’s sacred circles and enjoy mentoring women in how to access their feminine intuitive wisdom. creatively review their lives and share the gifts of who they really are. I like to recharge my energy in the beauty of nature - in my own backyard garden or on a beach walk or hike. I like to sing and have dabbled in community theatre.

I feel honored and touched when a friend shares real feelings with me and we can relax into creative. trusting play together. I am visualizing the gratitude I will feel when, with daily curiosity and mutual delight, I am intimately connected with an equally creative and response-able person who feels exhilarated by something as simple as breathing together. I am imagining you also love to grow food, are humbled by life's mysteries and can meet my impish sense of humor with your own unique style.

In the space between us, I imagine each of us cultivating wonder and appreciation. And each growing more and more skilled at interrupting old patterns of self-blame, criticism and judgment. Life with the one I'm looking for will feel like a dance. Flow will be easy to find when we drift into unconscious patterns. We will be able to laugh at ourselves. And the tenderness of sharing this final third of life together will keep each of us looking for and asking "What's fresh about today?" What's to learn today? What can be shared with the coming generation? " Justice, love and blessings will be top priority.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Discovering whats-to-love-about-a-situation, waking up with Qi Gong in the morning, and oh yes, improvising with what's in the fridge. I like to draw a blank circle in my notebook, then be surprised when inspiration pops in to fill that circle with what's most needed for the next creative project to manifest.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I like to pause, breathe and feel before I speak. My voice touches hearts. Somehow, I seem be growing both younger and wiser as I age.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
real, living food
clean water
the deep pleasure and challenge of living consciously
family & friends
music and trees
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How am I creating my life? How can I grow more aware? What can I love about right now? What on earth is life going to be like in the next 20 years, as the climate continues to change? How many of us can wake up and how fast? How can I grow even better at what I love to do? How can I be part of the positive change that heals & restores balance?
