My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
"Only those who dare to fail greatly can ever achieve greatly." - RFK
"Being tired is not a reason to stop partying." - Andrew W.K.

I'm a recent Maryland graduate trekking in the great wonders of life. I'm working at a concert venue in DC and loving being around live music.

I like discovering films and music, playing instruments, and working on crosswords and other puzzles. I passionately follow the O's, Ravens, Terps, and every Kennedy ever.

I like coming up with cross-country roadtrip plans that I'll likely never do.

In my spare time I'm either endlessly reading Wikipedia or watching endless loops of Scenes from a Hat.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working at a concert venue/promoter in DC. I also am a radio DJ at UMD's campus station.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
... instantly summoning useless trivia, identifying when a pop song sounds like another from the chord progression and melody, making apple sauce from scratch, coming up with mixtapes, sending postcards from obscure locations, planning Halloween or themed-party costumes, creating neologisms, and using the Oxford comma.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Glasses, paper complexion, beardedness (depending on the day), quick witty humor.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books: The Perks of Being a Wallflower, 1984, Slaughterhouse-Five, Watchmen, The Bro Code. The ending of The Catcher in the Rye is horrible. I follow a few comic books (Deadpool and his antics being my favorite) and adore theatre.

Movies: I love talking about film. I really like the works of Woody Allen, Michel Gondy, Terry Gilliam, and Wes Anderson. A recent film I enjoyed was Spike Jonze's Her. And, the most important thing: the best Star Wars movie is The Empire Strikes Back.

Television: Of what's currently on-air, I'm watching Hannibal, Agents of SHIELD, House of Cards, Game of Thrones, Veep, The Blacklist, Doctor Who, Cosmos, and the Amazing Race. Of their fallen brethren, I'm into Futurama, Boston Legal, How I Met Your Mother, Twin Peaks, Freaks and Geeks, Arrested Development, MST3k, and the West Wing. I also adore Mythbusters, random History Channel shows, and Bill Nye.

Music: David Bowie, Weezer, Talking Heads, Oingo Boingo, The Smiths, Nirvana, Muse, Beck. I'm really into alt rock and New Wave.
I usually listen to music as album. My favorite Beatles album is With the Beatles, and the album I keep playing on repeat lately is The Postal Service's Give Up.

Food: I would probably die without pizza, pretzels, and waffles.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Music when walking places
2. My instruments
3. Film
4. Having something to keep me busy
5. Water
6. Pizza
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
- Has studying Mandarin for two years helped me better understand Firefly?
- Did Zach Braff make Garden State just as an excuse to release his mixtape to the masses?
- Would the NSA employee reading my profile and Google search history be interested in drinks this Saturday night?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I'm admittedly probably working at a concert. If I'm not there, then I might be checking out a new film.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
