My self-summary
I am a newly minted political communications consultant, and am unequivocally passionate about what I do. I travel whenever I can, but most recently came back from an amazing trip in Brazil. I'm currently planning trips to Barbados, Italy, SoCal and Miami, which will keep me busy until April. Actively seeking new ideas for this summer. I'm a self-proclaimed foodie, with a minor obsession with charcuterie. Some have called me a nerd. I like to watch CSPAN, so I guess I qualify.

Right now, I'm looking to break out of my circle of friends and hopefully get back into the dating scene.

For those who have asked, my IG: @venturetravelist
What I’m doing with my life
I'm currently a consultant working with small socially-minded businesses and politicians. My job often consists having difficult conversations and breaking down tough subjects.
I’m really good at
picking up guys... just kidding (sort of). I've been an athlete forever, so give me a new sport and I'm usually pretty good at it. I've been doing a lot of endurance cycling lately, so if you can crank a cassette and are a bit of a roadie, let's chat. And, although I've only been singing in my shower lately, I've got a pretty good set of pipes.
The first things people usually notice about me
is my height. I'm 5'11. Well.. 5'10 3/4
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Currently reading Thrive, Start With Why, and Sailing Alone Around the Room.

I love all old movies, but my favorites would have to be Funny Face, Chinatown, Diner.. Oh, and I'm addicted to House of Cards.

When it comes to music, I've been a long time 311 fan, but I listen to just about everything from Above and Beyond to Incubus and everything in between. Currently into Washed Out, Kishi Bashi, Say Lou Lou, and Passion Pit just to name a few.

And as far as food goes, I probably eat more than you.

Why not list radio on here? Although a dying art form, I think NPR still deserves a mention. Wait Wait Don't Tell Me, Praire Home Companion, the NPR politics podcast... I could go on.
The six things I could never do without
My passport, bourbon, camera, a solid collection of footwear (including ski boots, bike cleats, a pair of slightly uncomfortable heels, and sooo many sneakers), mallomars, and I hate to admit it, but my phone. (By the way, I just assumed sex was implied.)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Food: Sushi, Haribo gummies, fried oreos, Annie's mac n cheese, charcuterie (again), custard pie, sweet potato fries, and might as well throw a salad in there for good measure.

Traveling: I have a list of about 30 places on my more immediate bucket list (that list gets longer everyday). Did you know that you can't apply for more pages in your passport now? Blasphemy.
On a typical Friday night I am
You can usually find me at home writing, editing countless photos, or watching old movies. But, when I'm up for going out on the town, I'm out! Whether it's blowing off steam with a beer at a local bar or, on the rare occassion, spraying champagne on innocent bystanders, I'm having a good time.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm afraid of the dark.
You should message me if
After reading all of this, you still want to hang out with me.
