Well, what to say... I have been very focused on my career and education since I moved away from home twelve years ago. Part of it was to build a foundation of independence for myself financially and professionally. When reflecting, I believe that part of it was to avoid dealing with who I was.

Today, I am glad to say that I have achieved my goals and balanced my life. I have become a successful professional and met my expectations for financial independence. Emotionally, I am grounded, confident and appreciate myself more than I ever have before. I am glad to have hit the 30's mark. I feel that this decade will bring stability as I discover more and more about who I am.

I am not looking for someone to complete me. I am complete. The right person will be someone I appreciate and admire for his own charisma and independence. I am looking for you to compliment my life and I yours. If you think you have what it takes, then take the step and say hi.

After graduating with my masters, I thought I was done. I was going to use my credential and my education to inspire youth in a classroom setting for the duration of my career.

However, long about the seventh year, I felt that I had a different calling. I knew that I could teach, but could I really be there for a student throughout their career as their number one mentor and support system? I saw it as a new and exciting challenge. I almost immediatley enrolled in a counseling program.

Today, I am a counselor working with an amazing group of students. I appreciate my job and all of the people that I work with. Going to work is a treasure because I truly enjoy what I do.

living by four major tenants. I feel that life is much simpler than most make it out to be. I appreciate the fact that I have been given life and try to live it fully everyday. Living life fully has a different definition depending on the day. I love all people in my life. That is not to say I always like everyone, but hate is self-distructive. I am a student of life. I learn with each passing moment. I am curious by nature and look to absorb all that I can. I want to take all that I have come to know and give it back to others before my time comes to depart this Earth. If I help just one person, then I feel accomplished.

those that matter most. I love and appreciate all paths that cross mine. I am finally understanding the balance between my own needs and the needs of others better than ever before.

Today, I remain very spiritually grounded, but I wouldn't say I am religious. I have been jaded by the politics and imperfections of religious dogma that seek to control as opposed to influence curiousity and a true personal relationship with whatever the higher power may be.

I also have a bit of a creative streak. I love to be creative with my friends and family. Whether it be putting on a major musical, singing, acting or writing, I love to get lost in the development of new or different.

One other area that I think a lot about is traveling. I love to travel. I want to explore this world and hope to find someone that has the money and vacation time that I do so that we can do it together.

Out to dinner with someone or off to a movie or a theatrical production. I rarely sit at home.

I may go through life without finding the perfect compliment to share it with.

You are a complete and grounded person. You have a career or profession that validates who you are. You stand on your own two feet and do not need another to fill a void.
