I'm usually pretty energetic, upbeat, and active. I love: reading, movies, theater, singing, dancing, acting and pretty much anything else involving the arts. Learning fun new words is part of my nerdy side, and if they're in a foreign language even better! My latest is portmanteau...but there's also pamplemousse and parapluie. Yes, I'm seeing the P theme here. I enjoy indoor and now outdoor rock climbing. I'm not really into organized team sports but I like the outdoors. Mainly hiking, the ocean, climbing, and exploring. Oh and travel! That's a big one. I know, so generic but it's true. I've been to 20 plus countries and counting. I'm always looking to add another stamp to my passport!
P.S. I should mention that I'm not really interested in a lot of back and forth emails, texts, etc. I prefer to meet in person to see if there's any chemistry or not.
Books: I'm an avid reader and usually always reading something, often several books at a time. I love humorists. Anything by David Sedaris, (that man cracks me up!) Sarah Vowell, Laurie Notaro. I also love British authors and that style of humor.
Music: Because my grandparents helped raise me I love old crooners like Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, etc. Kings of Leon, Vampire Weekend, Adele, Coldplay, Sam Smith, Calvin Harris, John Mayer, Imogen Heap, old school Motown, classical, jazz, some country etc.
T.V.: Game of Thrones, Sleepy Hollow, Sherlock, Orphan Black, Key and Peele, Drunk History, The New Girl, Anything on BBC, Downton Abbey, Modern Family, It's Always Sunny etc.
Food: I'm a bit of a picky eater but will try most things once. Love Dr. Pepper, Thai, Mex, Sushi, a good grilled cheese or tuna melt makes me so happy!
My pup, Riley
Sorry, too hard to only choose 6!!
*On a side note, as flattered as I am by the emails, much younger guys just aren't my thing...I guess I'd like to think I'm not quite at the cougar stage just yet!
