I'm not the quintessential nerd. I'm not the gross, I-don't-bathe-for-weeks type, (in fact I'm quite hygenic) but I do thoroughly enjoy me some video games and programming.

While I love watching movies, programming, and playing games (whether they be video, board, card, or pen and paper based), I also love to be outside as well. Some friends and I go backpacking every summer. Camping from cars is fun too, I just think its more fun when you aren't surrounded by cars and other people's tents. I'd really like to go snow camping once I have some better gear. I could use someone to keep me warm. ;P

Update on that previous paragraph, got better gear, now going backpacking a lot more than just in the summer now. Also, when camping in the snow, miscommunications about who has the firestarters are double bad. Expect to be very cold and very wet if the answer turns out to be no one. XD

I've recently started going to the gun range as well. Great way to blow off steam and prepare for the zombie apocalypse, all at the same time. :P

Took a year off of school for an SDET position at Microsoft, I'm going back this fall part time while continuing to work full time.

Learning archery, swing dancing, leatherworking, and all the things I can find a teacher for. Will you teach me something? You know you wanna

My smile. Unless I'm not wearing my shirt - then they can't keep their eyes off the gun show. XD In all seriousness, people say my teeth are perfect... but if you looked at my pictures, you already know that. ;D

Shows would be Archer, Firefly, Castle, Psych, Futurama, Community, Parks and Recreation, The Big Bang Theory, The Walking Dead, The Daily Show, Misfits, Stargate (any of 'em), and anything involving dinosaurs.

Any movie, any time, any where. I love the very act of watching a movie. Some favorites are Sherlcok Homles, Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?, Iron Man, 300, The Dark Knight, anything by Pixar, Catch Me If You Can, anything with Jason Stattham, Bruce Willis, or Brad Pitt in it, We Were Soldiers, the Tremors series, things I can't remember right now for some reason...

Games: Leage of Legends, Battlefield 3, Borderlands, Assassin's Creed, Soul Calibur, Need for Speed, Killing Floor, Magicka, Evil Genius, Left 4 Dead

I don't read as much as I used to, though I still love being read to. Used to read lots of things like Terry Goodkind, Isaac Assimov, and other assorted fantasy and sci-fi. Not Tolkein though. After three pages of hearing about some rock that had nothing to do with the story, I was done. To be fair, I did like the Hobbit.

Music: Anything with an epic feeling to it. Dubstep, hard rock, gangsta rap, don't much care about the actual words, more the intensity of the music. Don't get me wrong though, I also love music that tells a story which country is quite good at.

Food: Anything easy to make, or someone else makes - I generally tend towards the generic teenage junk food unless a lovely lady cooks for me - love has a definite taste.

My computer - I worked hard building that thing and its pretty beastly now. Besides, what's a programmer without his machine?

My phone - I run my life off that thing, in fact I'm writing this from it right now

The forest - hanging out in the woods makes problems seem less important

My boots - you never know when someone might throw a brick at your foot. Plus with all the rain, its nice to have dry feet

My watch - the little, hourly beeps help keep me on track

The internet - I like knowing the cloud is there if I need it

Probably watching a movie, programming, or playing a game. Letting my fingers rest between Thursday and Saturday archery.

Okay, I admit it! The smile isn't natural - years of dental work - but it's an awesome smile now!
