This is a work in progress so as I go along it will get longer and
make less sense im sure.
First off you are most likly going to have to break the ice here. The idea of being just another email in a long list of guys looking for attention in your in box does not appeal to me... Although if you have a cool profile section I may have no choice but to comment. I seem to match closest to people from the north-east, west coast or Europe. I guess I dont seem to have much in common with most of my neighbors here in Bama.
If I could I would send in pictures which explain the life of mitchell (thats me). unfortunantly...
I always forget my camera. the best photographs always come along when I leave the camera at home.
1.) I love to travel and learn new things especially if it means getting off the beaten trail and going to places that are kinda hard to get to. I like hole in the wall restaurants with great food and cheap beer. I love to watch football and play rugby. I love the ocean, and swimming, and sailing, and hearing waves crash all through the night, l am a law student in Alabama and an officer in the army]. Sometimes, like orange juice and milk, the two dont really agree. Mostly I like to think for myself, go where i want, and sleep when I can. Im always looking forward to seeing whats around the next bend on this road thats very much less traveled.
2.) I also have lost my IM code book (ok i never really had a code book) so please just type what you're trying to say until I catch up.
3) oh..wine, I forgot wine....and chocolate, really dark, pure chocolate. Just found a chocolate with hot pepper and cinnamon. WOW!
4) show tunes. I sit around and listen to show tunes (and metallica, ben folds five, marcel khalife, etc. but they dont have the same punch as show tunes in an introductory paragraph). Phantom and cats, and sunset blvd are great but there is nothing like Les Mis for out loud drunken singing to annoy the neighborhood cats on sunday mornings. I am also trying to memorize every song Jimmy Buffet ever recorded in order to make up for not reading the bible anymore.
5)---Just dawned on me that I have not metioned my housemates; mustapha and ariel. Two rescue mutts that have redefined my concept/relationship with pets. I was not expecting the levels of dependency and trust that comes with the responsibility. I guess you shouldn't bother if you cant stand dogs cause we are a package deal. (BTW: they should allow pictures of pets in the photo section. They are more cute than me).
6) Ive been in the army (see picture from afgahnistan) where I jumped out of plans and tried to help other people in other countries not want to kill us. I left the army and went to law school. I was pulled out of law school and put back in the army so that I could teach other soldiers how to go to other contries and not make asses out of us. I have just left the army (again) and am going back into law school (again).
7) my most recent adventures have been Bonnaroo and Uganda where I rafted the Nile and trekked the Rwenzori Mountains. I think that my next adventure will be the Zambezi or maybe the Mississippi river.
