My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
It should be noted that I'm terrified of people and if you haven't gotten a reply from me... well. It's still probably you. I have a terrible aversion to people in general and I don't know if that will ever truly go away - but having some help in overcoming it would be nice.

Onward:

I'm shy, quiet, chaotic, crazy, bisexual, often switchy and usually polyamorous if everyone involved is down with that sort of thing. If you can't handle any of that, or if you think that "bisexual + poly + female-bodied = ORGIEZ ALL TEH TIMEZ" go ahead and move along.

You're still here? Good. Ok.

I will be too afraid to message you. Please, do me a favor: if you get through all this and like it, make the first move. Otherwise, you may be doomed to me OKC-stalking you. (Just kidding. Ok, kind of.)

I also have the attention span of a grapefruit. No, really. I've added to, subtracted from, and otherwise wandered away from editing this about 10 times in the last 30 minutes.

If you get me talking (or drinking), I'm fabulous. I know I sound like a lot of work, but I happen to think I'm worth it. I'm loyal as hell and happy to tag along for all kinds of adventures - if you tag along for mine.

Ok, make that 11 times.

*Note: Messages only show up in my inbox if you're a 70% match or more, and I respond to *very* few of those. Sorry. Got more to do with life than sift through bad, empty profiles and generic messages. Don't you? Go out and do it.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Right now, I'm seeking employment, but I've got leads and ideas and hopefully, that won't last long.

Generally speaking, I'm overeducated, underworked, underpaid when I do work, and I may or may not have a chip on my shoulder about all that.

But at least I usually get to do what I love.

For now, I'm dreaming of becoming a 'real' photographer.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Snuggling (most often I self-identify as a snuggleslut among other...kinds of... sluts...), kissing, hugs, and making soup and chili from scratch.
Photography
Writing
Taking things apart and putting them back together marginally in the same or better condition that they were in.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
The twitching? The tap-counting? The way I would prefer to be invisible?

Or... they don't? I apparently *am* an anomaly; people tend to see right through me.

Or whatever my ever-changing hair color/length is doing on said day, my visible tattoos, or my tongue ring (who's looking that closely, honestly??)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Seriously. Just about anything. I love to read. I'm such a book slut. I've been into a lot of David Baldacci lately. He writes a good political thriller - which is totally not a genre I'm ever interested in. I've got chick lit, marketing books, books on religion, and lots of poetry. (I kind of have a crush on Bukowski. Who doesn't?)

Movies: I do love a good Matthew Perry movie. Because he's a spazz.

Music: The Clarks, Blue October, Snow Patrol, Living Syndication, Nickel Creek, Evanescence, Halestorm, Emilie Autumn, McAlister Drive - basically anything that makes me feel something. Or makes for good driving music.

Food: Wait, I'm supposed to eat?
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
After basic sustenance? After fulfilling at least the bottom of Maslow's heirarchy of needs?

Kitten, bear, bed, books, Apple products, camera.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Life. Death. The meaning of it all. Kittens. You know, the usual.

I dunno.

I get lost in my brain sometimes. It's kind of cluttered in here.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Doing laundry. (What an exciting life I lead...) Talking online. (Nerd.) Having a beer. (Or... six...) Tied up. (Yes, in that way...)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have a shirt that reads, "Bisexual, polyamorous, switch - not confused, just greedy!"

I don't often get a chance to wear it, but the sentiment is always the same.

I haven't bored you to tears. I'm really not this boring, I swear. I promise that in real life, I have the potential to break your brain...

If you like being kept on your toes and can deal with the fact that I'm not sure I'm a grown-up yet.

And if you're not entirely convinced you're a grown-up yet... ;-)

Also - if I do the OKCupid star thing, it's because I'm too shy to say something. So you start!
