I'm a single mom with a wonderful son. I work a full time job and fill the rest of my time being a mother. I love to have fun, laugh and smile. We do a lot of that in our house.

Why am I here? First off, I'm not lonely or pathetic or desperate. I have a great life and would like to have someone to share it with. I don't hang out in bars or clubs, I'm a MOM! Who works full time and is a caretaker and housekeeper who doesn't have a lot of time to herself. Hopefully there are some serious men out there looking for something great. No games, no bs. I am honest and keep getting more straightforward as the days go on. If you can't be honest or open or carry a conversation with me, don't bother. Do you have a substance abuse problem or criminal record? Keep walkin'.

As I said, I don't have a lot of time to myself and if I need it I have to plan. Can you respect that? Getting to know a person is important before meeting them, I don't want to waste my time or yours. I can talk about almost anything, except mathematics-not my strong subject. lol Sports-Wings, UofM Football, PBR, Stong Man, Nascar/Racing; news & current events; arts and entertainment; music; kids stuff; random ponderings of my brain; religion/spirituality; old tv shows/cartoons....my interests are extremely ecclectic!

I am looking for someone who knows what they want and has goals to reach. Is hard working, honest, ethical, respectful. Likes to cook(is that too much?) lol Knows what a parter is in a relationship. Has to love kids! Who has things that he can teach me, and hopefully I can teach him. He has to have a good sense of humor. Can be romantic/passionate. Someone who is genuinely proud and happy to have me in their life.

Books: Don't get much time to read for myself anymore. The current favs in my house are The Five Little Monkeys and A Frog in the Bog.

Movies: I enjoy all types of movies...foreign, independent, action, horror, comedy, sci-fi.

Music: Really, I listen to everything...rock, pop, r&b, some rap, country, classical, opera, house/techno, oldies, disco, alternative. If I haven't heard of someone, all I need is a song or album and I'll take a listen.

Food: I'm not really a picky eater, I'll try most anything. I will not eat mangos, papayas, beets, or strange animal parts. Other than that, Italian, vegetarian, Mexican, American, Indian, Sushi, Chinese, seafood. Love a good steak on the grill or a nice piece of fish.

You like kids. Are not afraid of an independent woman who speaks her mind. Have yourself together and know what you want. Don't bother if you are looking for 'activity partners' because I'm a little more grown-up than that.
