Right now I'm in Iraq. I'm a down to earth guy that is just stuck in a 3rd world country but I'm making the best of it. Most of my time I try to bullshit with friends to forget that we are here. I Like having intellectual conversations, about history, politics, or just randomness.

I get out of the Army in about in a couple of months and I plan on being a cop in north Atlanta (hopefully Cobb County) and going back to school and finishing up my degree. I used to be a history major but I might switch that over to criminal justice since that seems to be what I'm good at.

When I'm back home I like:

Driving aimlessly to no where in particular.
Visiting new places.
Appreciating the little things in life.
Carpe Diem.

Why dont you tell me?

Books- I used to read all the time. I still read quit a bit but I've defiantly slowed down a bit. I’ve been reading "Lies my teacher told me" it reads like a text book but I enjoy history so I'm getting through it. Some other books that I've read and liked are "Lord of the Flies", "Fight Club", "Lords Of Discipline" and "Midnight in the garden of good and evil". I'm not saying that there aren’t more but these are the ones that come to mind.

Movies- Nearly anything. We watch a lot of movies. From 40 Year old virgin to apocalypse now to every episode of scrubs (I know its not a movie but its just so good) and then we'll bounce over to a romantic comedy and watch that. Don’t judge me. Good plot is good plot and that’s what its all about. Being able to lose yourself in a good movie. Right now we're stuck on How I met your mother. It keeps me laughing.

Enjoying my weekends with friends, on road trips. Visiting random places, and making a fun time out of it. Just something to change the same old scene.
