My name is Danny. I'm a pretty outdoorsy kind of guy and I like to
work with my hands. I'm pretty terrible with small talk but love to
have people to explain something I hadn't understood before. It
seems that my goal in life is to learn as much as I can. I'm
originally from the tiny town of Tyner, IN. I love to read. I
mostly stick to the classics and science fiction stuff. I've got an
interest in astronomy and I even just bought a small telescope but
so far it's basically been me getting frustrated. I also like to
play my guitar and am ever so slowly teaching myself the piano.
What I’m doing with my life
I've been working as a restoration ecologist with a not-for-profit
for the past 18 months or so. I really enjoy it and am learning a
whole bunch of new things. I know that I won't be doing this job
for the rest of my life but I'm pretty sure that this is the field
that I want to work in. The general plan is to work off my student
loans and then see what happens.
I’m really good at
Doing things with my hands. If I don't have some kind of project
that I'm building I get pretty antsy. Also making my car run
whether it wants to or not. I'm pretty good with science and
The first things people usually notice about me
