I'm not gonna be the only guy you know who went to Georgetown and has tortoise shell glasses from Warby Parker. But I am the only guy you'll ever know who is a Hoya AND has tortoise shell glasses AND was on the show Barney twice AND had his resumé Wikileaked AND won a national championship in wheelchair basketball. So...I got that going for me?
One of the most powerful ideas I've come across is a saying in Zulu, "Umuntu ngumuntu ngabantu," which means "a person is a person through (other) people." I guess it struck me because it fits so well with the ideal of being 'a man for others' that was drilled into me at a Jesuit prep school.
