My name is Zachary. I'm a huge nerd. I'm random; I can be fierce and I can be soft. I'm pretty kind although sometimes I have a biting wit and an inability to still my tongue, the speed of which too often outstrips my brain. I'm adventurous but I love nights in. I'm not sure where I'm going or what I'm doing, but I know generally what I want and what I need.

I like grammar and proper English as much as possible - via message, text message, email, whatever. I love texting, and have a tendency to type out long messages because I can be rather long winded, which by now I'm sure you're noticing.

Finally, I'm a strong person with a lot of trust issues and walls. I don't really fit any gay physical stereotypes, and I do my best to keep an open mind, even though I have a fairly closed heart.

I like comic books and folklore and mythology. I like fantasy novels and video games (even though I'm terrible at playing them). I'm kind of weird and have an interesting sense of humor.

I'm currently studying English at IUSB, just trying to get my degree and graduate. I'm not exactly sure where my life is headed after that, there are a few possibilities. You'll have to ask me about them though, because my answer will pretty much be incredibly mutable.

I'm a fairly organised person, and I've got a bit of life experience under my belt, so I think I'm good for advice. I'm always trying to solve the problem rather than whinge about it. I get things done.

I'm kind of that loud sarcastic bastard who'll pretty much say the first thing that comes to mind even if it isn't necessarily appropriate, and there's a generous dash of socially awkward thrown in there for fun.

My all time favorite thing to do is read. I love reading fantasy (everything from urban fantasy like the Mercy Thompson and Dresden Files series to sword-and-sorcery stuff like the Nightrunner series and the Codex Alera). Favorite fantasy authors include Jim Butcher, Robin McKinley, Terry Pratchett, Charles de Lint, Kim Harrison, Patrick Rothfuss, and Patricia Briggs. I also enjoy reading YA fiction with LGBT themes, books like Sprout by Dale Peck, Boy Meets Boy (and anything else) by David Levithan, and Someday This Pain Might Be Useful To You by Peter Cameron.

I also love superhero comic books, specifically the Young Avengers and Marvel in general, although I do love me some Runaways and some Wildstorm (though I know so little about the universe). Like I said earlier, I'm a big nerd.

My favorite films include the Scream and Alien films, Under The Tuscan Sun, Elizabethtown, 27 Dresses, Easy A, any superhero movie, Kung Fu Panda, The Incredibles, Breakfast At Tiffany's, Definitely Maybe, Star Trek (the new one), Star Wars (the old ones), Van Helsing, Serenity, Cowboys & Aliens, etc.

My favorite tv series include Supernatural, The Good Wife, Castle, HIMYM, Avatar: The Last Airbender (What? It's awesome), Bones, Doctor Who, Cougar Town, Firefly, Dead Like Me, Veronica Mars, Warehouse 13 and the list goes on and on.

Aaaaaand foodstuffs. I love cheeseburgers. All-time favorite food is the cheeseburger. What can I say? I'm a classy guy like that. Also, peanut butter pie and cheesecake. Finally, I've developed a weird thing for chili...

3. Books. I love to read -- I want to do it for a living, so that's probably a good thing.
4. My computer.
5. My extraordinary friends and family. They're pretty much amazing.
6. Food? I do love food. And water. You know, life essentials and whatnot.

Lately I've been thinking a lot about what it would be like to run away and live with the reindeer people in Mongolia. Also I think a lot about books, spaceships, food, technology and stuff. Oh, and I spend a decent amount of time thinking about what super powers I would have if I were a super hero. Ask me more if you're curious.

Uh I stay in a lot. I'm really not much of a drinker any more, and I can't really afford to go out a lot. So I'll stay in and read or watch tv or play some video games. Or I'll prolly be working on something.
