My name is Jon recently moved to Newcastle from East Yorkshire for work, recently back on ok cupid after a couple of years off hoping to meet new people in a new city..

I work in Contract and Compliance for a renewable energy company during the day and by night trying to live the life of a sophisticated young adult and failing miserably. I have a degree in History and one day I may use it for something but ideally i'll like to travel for a bit and then concentrate on something I actually want to do with my life.

I would like to start a band writing love songs about dinosaurs and lazy days spent with panda bears..with the awesome bass-lines of The Pixies..the psychedelia of The Flaming Lips and and the fun casio-keyboard driven spazz that is Bis..anyone want to help me? Im a poor bass player but i make up for it in my tea-making ability and knowledge of words that make sentances..

Falling over and running into things.. also ten pin bowling.. making mix tapes.. witty sarcasm.. fitting peoples names into well known songs..getting the wrong end of the stick..knowing useless stuff about European dictators..
