I'm a pretty mellow, easy-going guy, but can be a little introverted and shy at first. I have a full love for excellent music, movies and games. I try to go to as many concerts as I can. Anything to do with science is awesome, especially astrophysics. When I was a kid I wanted to be Michael Knight and a Transformer. Both at the same time if I could.

I love driving all night to take road trips to the middle of nowhere. There isn't much better than a long drive blasting awesome music. Some day I plan to go camping in the desert with a camera and a telescope. I like to hunt Goodwill for awesome shirts and random weirdness. I have a collection of suit jackets I never wear.

I enjoy playing games. Really anything - mostly video games, but board games, card games... When I can find the time I like to read, take pictures, play my guitar, watch baseball. I can spend hours late night at Waffle House or Denny's.

I have a 4 year old daughter. She is completely awesome, funny and amazingly smart.

Right now I spends most of my time at work. I run CNC machines and make transmission parts - its actually a lot of fun. I also go to school part time at IUPUI for New Media with a focus on video editing. I'm trying to figure out if I should go for a Masters degree after I graduate or get another Bachelors in Physics. Yay learning! I occasionally go jam with my roommate's band. If you can sing we should record something!

Memorizing song lyrics, procrastinating, attempting to play my guitar, my job, reading reddit when I should be working, writing 10 page final papers in one sitting. I learn new things pretty quickly.

I'm often pretty quiet. Also, I seem to have really long eyelashes. I remember getting complemented on them all the time as a kid at grocery store check out lines...

Books-
I've always wanted to have a full library room in my house. I like to read a lot of weird sociology books and science books. Chuck Klosterman is my favorite author. We had a short conversation on Facebook once. I told him I liked his books. He said "Thank you". As far as fiction I like good sci-fi/fantasy, Jack Kerouac, Chuck Palahniuk. My favorite book is Childhood's End by Arthur C. Clarke.

Movies-
My two favorite movies ever are probably Eternal Sunshine and Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Others include Goodfellas, Lord of the Rings, 2001, THX 1138, Anchorman, The Life Aquatic. I like mostly sci-fi, suspense, action type movies, but I'll watch pretty much anything. I'm not a big gore/horror fan, but the first Saw movie was fantastic.

Music-
I listen to as much music as possible. Mostly Rock and Post rock stuff like Tool, Nine Inch Nails, Pearl Jam, Modest Mouse, Radiohead, The Mars Volta, Mogwai and Explosions In the Sky. Classic rock like Led Zeppelin, The Velvet Underground and The Doors. The newest M83 album is so good its unbelievable. Too many others to list. I'm becoming a musical sponge.

TV-
It's been a minute since I've been able to watch much TV, but I like old X-Files, Star Trek, Simpsons, Family Guy, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Lost. Cable news is usually annoying but it's fun to watch everyone yell at each other. I try to watch baseball and football games when I can.

Food-
I like Mexican, Italian, Chinese, most anything really. I can be pretty picky, but can usually find something I like anywhere. Waffle House is my favorite restaurant. It's tasty deliciousness. I like to cook. I tend to mix a bunch of random things in a big pot and call it a meal. My cheesy rice stuff is fantastic!

What I'm doing with my life, school, work. I often think it would be awesome to go back in time and blow people's minds with current music. Though I'd probably just go to a bunch of Doors and Led Zeppelin concerts. I wish sometimes it was the future so I could fly around in space. I write a lot of music in my head that I'm unable to play. Also, where did all my socks disappear to?

Sadly, stuck at work until midnight, afterwards lately I have been chilling out at the house with my roommate, but I'm up for anything!

I'm a sucker for all the shows on HGTV.

I've always wanted Kirk's jacket from Star Trek II.

I'm not a fan of bacon and don't understand the recent "Let's put bacon on everything" thing.
