My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a very relaxed guy. I like chilling out with friends, movies and dvds, having a few drinks. I play indoor soccer with a very woeful team, we consider not losing by more than two goals an effective victory for the team. My creed for life is 'live and let live'. I'd like to be kinder and more pleasant to people than I am, but unfortunately I'm only human and prone to human flaws, just like everyone else.

I like to read, I'm not overly fussy about what. Pratchett is good, Ludlum is good, Van Lustblader is good, Janovich is good. Movies: Too much Hollywood these days. It's expensive crap that has not a single iota of origionality inside, coughed up by hollywood hacks and paid for by investors whos only interest is getting their 14% return on investment, not making an enjoyable movie. Oh my, that came across a bit anti-hollywood. Well they had it coming, churning out rubbish on a monthly basis.

I am quirky, mostly harmless, and snapalicious
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working in a fairly dead end job in the Government, alternating between fantasizing about working somewhere better and writing job application letters.

I took up tai chi to calm my mind, and beacuse Karate was paining my body something awful after years of violence. It's a step for the better, even if the next youngest person in the class is almost twice my age :P
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Dance Dance Revolution baby! Or as some say, DDR I'm also good at listening to people, discerning what they are really saying and making them feel better. I can also cook good, when I have the enthusiasm.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
The fact I'm there! I'm a quiet type, and tend to fade away into neutrality if I'm not actively doing something.

a) Hitchhiker's misnumbered trilogy

A wizard of Earthsea

Barry Trotter and the Unneccesary Sequel.

b) Anything horror, or bad sci-fi. No romantic comedies please. They're just awful. Dark City, Cube, Labyrnth (with Bowie!), Finding Nemo, and just for the "what the?!" factor I'd have to include "Mrs Brisby and the Rats of Nihm" - yes, it's a kids cartoon, but it's wonderful.

c) The 80s should never have died :) Music reached an peak then and has never really recaptured it. Some people say the 80s sucked, but they are fools, and wrong to boot. The early 90s had some good stuff, but it all went downhill after the Spice Girls - the Age of Manufactured Music had begun.

d) Chicken or cow or pig based dishes. Or pasta.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Internet. Cats. Rain falling on the roof while I'm in bed. My hammock. A car. Drinks.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
what I'm doing with my life and what I need to do to make it as I want. girls. when microchips will be implanted into people's brains. What I'm going to have for my next meal. How long until this putrid world we find ourselves trapped in destroys itself, and how that's going to happen.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Happily drunk or tipsy. With a group of friends, laughing and carousing. Living for the moment.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I like Aqua, S-Club 7 and dance dance revolution.

you're looking for a good change in a pleasant, but desperately dull and unforfilled life. Oh my god, that makes me sound like the most desperate ever, but oh well, what are you going to do? :P
