I am creative, charming, and musical.
My Self-Summary
I'm a 27 year old male who works like crazy and is unlucky in love.
In my chosen profession, there isn't a lot of time for outside
social interaction. Originally I joined this site just to find
friends, but I'm ready to get out there and meet someone great- and
not just anyone but the person I deserve.
Are you that person?
What I’m doing with my life
I recently graduated from the Art Institute of Atlanta with a
Bachelor of Arts in Audio Production. I currently work for CBS
Radio doing
sound
design and
audio production for DaveFM,
V103(no I can't introduce you to Snoop Dogg), and WAOK News/Talk. I
also do freelance work for Georgia Public Broadcast for their
in-house events. When I'm not working on these things, I'm usually
entrenched in a freelance project of some sort.
Lately I've been going to the gym a lot. First it was just to get
in shape, but now it's become a place of peace for me.
I’m really good at
I believe that one of my strengths is making other people feel
better around me. People have told me that I should've gone into
Psychology, as I always seem to have the right advice for everyone.
Now only if I took my own advice....
Another strong quality I have is that I'm a born
leader. I've made a lot of friends,
and I'm typically the "leader of the pack" in my social circle.
People genuinely seem to like me, and like being around me. The
only problem is that lately all of the ladies seem to want to be my
best friend.
I'm also an excellent listener. I like to talk as much as the next
guy, but I'm not one of those people who will pretend to listen to
you.
I'm well-educated, well-mannered, and I've got a great dry sense of
humor. Make fun of me, and I'll probably laugh right along with
you.
The first things people usually notice about me
My height (6'3), eyes, or the fact that I'm trapped in the 90s and
still rock Doc Martens. In all seriousness, I'm shy when you first
meet me but it doesn't take long for me to warm up to you.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
(A) So many books, I'm gonna have to come back to this one
later....right now I'm reading Unbreakable.
(B) Edward Scissorhands, Pan's Labyrinth, Braveheart, Purple Rain,
Grindhouse, Kill Bill (Volume 2 was disappointing), Atonement,
Benny and Joon, Gladiator, There Will Be Blood, Zombieland, Batman,
Gangs of New York, Sweeney Todd (the movie AND the broadway
production), Back to the Future, cheesy slasher films, Pirates of
the Caribbean series, Will Ferrell-esque comedies.
(C) This could go on forever: NIN, Tool, A Perfect Circle, Tori
Amos, Bjork, The Birthday Massacre, Placebo, The Cure, Stabbing
Westward, Genitorturers, Marilyn Manson, David Bowie, Bjork
Collide, 8mm, Paul Haslinger, Tangerine Dream, VAST, In This
Moment, Agnes Milewski, and other bands. I'm also a huge fan of
cinema music and scores for multimedia (television, video games,
interactive media, etc.) You'll have to message me for that list
because it's huge.=)
(D) Italian, Mexican, pretty much all Asian cuisine

I spend a lot of time thinking about
music, and the
perfect soundtrack for any situation. I've also spent a lot of time
thinking about what the next step in my life is, and how I plan on
getting there. Lastly, I've thought about how the holidays are
coming and how it would it nice to have someone to hang out with.
=)
On a typical Friday night I am
either working late or out with friends. Sometimes I like to come
home, take a shower, watch some TV, and save the partying for
Saturday.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I'm disgusted by most large insects. Yep, it's true.
You should message me if
you've gotten this far and you like what you see. Since everyone
else seems to have a "list of things" at the end of their profile,
here is mine:
-I'm interested in people between 21 and 30.
-Please don't be a drug abuser or a daily drunk. I've had my share
of good times in my teens, but that part of my life is long gone.
That being said, I like to drink but not everyday and not just to
get drunk.
-I like the physical aspect of a relationship as much as any other
guy does, but I've been burned before and I'm not too up on the
idea of sharing a bed with a stranger after date #1. Girls seem to
think that only guys on here are looking for that, but you'd be
surprised.
-I respect religions in all forms, and I am a Christian, but I
don't practice actively. If you do, that's great, but please don't
try and shove it down my throat or threaten me with the wrath of
hell. I'm spiritual enough for me.
-I've taken a lot of flak regarding my chosen profession in the
audio field. I do make money doing it, and I am passionate about
it. Please don't give me the "you're never going to be a rockstar"
speech because that's not why I do it. I love my career and I
realize that the maximum salary is not what a doctor makes, so
please don't try and change me. I won't change you, promise.
=)
That's about all I've got. I'm very accepting of other people's
quirks (I don't use the word "flaws"), and expect the same
treatment in return. Hope to speak to you soon!
