I'm new to Long beach, SoCal, the LA area, but not the West Coast.
I"m busy exploring the different neighborhoods, tasting the diverse
cuisine, and always looking for something fun and out doors to do.
I came out west (again and thankfully) for a job, but the last few
years has been a whirlwind. I love living in Socal, and after two
large moves in the last 4 months I am not going ANYWHERE anytime
soon.
So, I'm 25 and I'm clearly having a 1/4 life crisis. I'm the one person who can't sit still. In the last 3 years I've spent 6 months traveling S.E. Asia, 8 months living IN China, 15 months living in Seattle, and 4 months in Kansas Shitty, Misery....Oh I mean Kansas City, Missiouri! Does that add up to 3 years -- close at least right?!?!?!
After graduating from College in 2008 I turned down a great job to go back packing through South East Asia for 5 months. Along the way I randomly ended up in England and France for a couple of weeks (it wasn't planned, it just happened) and then when that was said and done, I decided to take a job in Beijing China for shits and giggles! I worked there for 8 months and then decided I had enough and moved back to Seattle to Settle down, and then finally accepted that great job back :) Then, 17 months later I ended up In Kansas Shitty Misery! Don't ask me why, But it was a good carrer move at the time. Yet, now I'm in Long Beach, California, so sure it was the long route to Cal, but it only took me 5 months longer than I had hoped! And well an additoin 3000 miles but who's counting!
In my free time I'm normally traveling the world, collecting passport stamps -- I have about 36 countries down on 5 continents and still collecting, in 2010 I went to Singapore, Indonesia, Taiwan, Colombia twice, Philippines, mexico and all over the usa. Yes this is all for fun, not for work. Other stuff I do: scuba diving, sufing, chilling with friends, drinking red wine, hiking, cycling, running, kayaking or just sitting at home with a good book or newspaper, but then again since I live across from the beach now, I think I'd rather sit on the beach and do that! live music Broadways the arts, come on Long beach, show me some culture for there was none in KC! :D
I'm the first to embarrass myself and love to just let loose and laugh. I'll laugh at you, but only after laughing at myself!
