My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am a fun-loving, relaxed, intelligent guy who is looking for a like-minded companion to share some activities, adventures, explorations, interesting conversations, enlightening observations, and occasional mischief and fun with.

My work life has been pretty good, and I’ve been lucky enough to have found a great spot to live, but as time has passed I’ve realized that I’m missing a couple things from my life; like maybe a hug or two, and maybe a little bit of affection, and maybe even just a little bit of encouragement from time to time... I don’t need much, but I’m just sayin’.

I am pretty free-spirited and while I love to play outside – golf, skiing, bicycling, sailing, and so on – what I really like to do best is make things. This might be like a project for my house, or an art project like a model or a drawing, or even something as simple as cooking or weeding one of my flower beds... I just love that feeling of looking at something and going ‘Wow, cool! I made that.’ So naturally, if you’re like that too, then I can relate to that!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Right now, I'm living in the moment; keeping an eye out for YOU ;-)
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Having fun; breaking rules; being a black sheep; being a gentleman; being a renaissance man. Stuff like that.

I feel like I'm a good listener, confidante, and supporter… and people have told me I'm a good writer, teacher, and explainer too.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Maybe that I'm nice? Maybe that I smiled at you? :-)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
FOOD: I love lively, spicy, cooking; so Vietnamese, Chinese, Thai, Mexican, and Indian, are my faves. But I love the grill too so juicy steaks, pork chops, briskets, yum! While we are at it, macaroni and cheese, linguini, spaghetti, I love to cook, but I love going out too!

HOBBIES: Golf, skiing, bicycling, gardening, fixing up my house, making models, riding motorbikes, reading, drawing, playing guitar. I want to learn watercolor, but I think that will be after this summer.

MOVIES: American Graffiti, Star Wars, Pulp Fiction, Back to the Future, Repo Man, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, The Seven Samurai, A Fistfull of Dollars, The Sound of Music.

Podcasts: Fresh Air, Radiolab, TED Radio hour, This American Life.

TV: The Amazing Race, Anthony Bourdain, LPGA Golf, SNL.

MUSIC: I have big spectrum of music. I'm always listening for new and different sounds and a lot of those come from a combination of KEXP and Pandora. That said, my car presets include KING FM classical, and KNHC for Dance, and Warm 106.9 for feeling good. Check out Eilen Jewell on youtube if you want to hear my favorite singer of the past few years.

BOOKS: Growing up I was a huge Sci-Fi and Spy/Adventure fan, but nowadays, I read more to 'understand the world' vs. 'escape from the world'. So I read about energy and conflict, and economics, and psychology. This might not sound too exciting, but to curious me, learning stuff is super-exciting!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
You mean like, other than my friends, and affectionate, loving, human touch? Hmm. I suppose my iPhone would be tough to part with. I'd miss beer, golf, bookstores, and bicycles, but really I'm pretty adaptable...
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What would Han Solo do?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Doing whatever I want to do!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Well, it would be private, so I'll have to whisper it in your ear... And then you would laugh of course...
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You want to say 'hi'; or,
You'd like someone to hug you and point out how great you are; or,
You'd like a solid pal to take care of you when you need it; or,
Especially if you are a fantastic, super-nice person who can sort of relate to where I'm at ;-)

P.S. Cheers and thanks for reading, and good luck in your own search!
