ABOUT ME
My name is Rob. I'm 46 years old. I'm looking for friends to chat with, and hang out with. I am a musician in several bands. I have been performing in live bands for about eighteen years. I play guitar and sing. I also write my own music and I enjoy entertaining people musically. I do love kids and someday would like some children of my own, however, I'm not going to hold my breath. Most people my age aren't trying to have kids, they're trying to get the ones they have off to college. That being said, I do have a blonde C O C K E R -Spaniel named "Annie" that I treat like a spoiled kid. She's mostly adorable with a side of cuteness and topped off with a little bit of attitude... She's gotten me through some tough times... I'm not looking for one night stands. I believe in honesty and open communication between two people, as communication is key to "any" sort of relationship. I've nothing to hide from anyone. I recently quit smoking. It's been 20 months as of July 2011. Yeah me!!! I've never felt better... I also repair and refurbish old cuckoo clocks and perform and learn "string trick" yoyo tricks as hobbies... Yoyo-ing keeps the fingers nimble during guitar playing down time... I'm very interested in "Ghost Hunting". I have a lot of the equipment that they use on television too like an emf meter, a "K-2" meter, digital recorder... etc. I believe there is something after the here and now. WHO I'D LIKE TO MEET:
Anyone. Male or female. Anyone who wants to be friends to chat with, party with, converse with, play music with, talk music shoppe with, or just hang out with if you're local to my location.

I "would" like to find a woman who would be interested in getting to know one another, in an effort to possibly start a relationship with. Honesty is a MUST. If something is bothering you, you must be able to talk to me about it, and not just avoid the problem by making up stories or avoiding me or the problem. "HONESTY" is the "keystone" in any relationship. Without it, the relationship has no chance of supporting itself.

Just finding friends would be a great start. Long distance chat buddies would be a welcome change too. I think it would be a great way to explore the country and the world, from the comfort of my computer keyboard.

I am quiet, open, and understanding

I'm trying to figure out what I'm doing with my life right now. I do want to include someone in it.

I'M REALLY GOOD AT: Music. I love to sing and perform in front of crowds. I'm really good at photography, since I majored in it in college. I'll try to think of more stuff soon and add it to my profile later.

MY INTERESTS ARE: I like to ride my mountain bike on logging trails and paved bike trails. I like all forms of music, except rap. I prefer the stuff that's on the radio. Top 40 stuff. I love playing music on my guitar in my bands. I enjoy performing live shows in front of audiences. I love to play in small bars because it's more personal to the crowd. I love trying new micro brew dark, full-bodied beers. The closer to Guinness flavor, the better. I like to design things on computer, like awards, posters or fliers. I am an art graduate in design and photography, and some day I may actually get a job doing that sort of thing. Right now it's only a distant dream. I enjoy collecting and playing/performing with my yoyos. The two-handed string tricks deal. Keeps my fingers limber.

I just recently started collecting cuckoo clocks for restoration purposes. Hope to sell them when they're completed. I've always loved cuckoo clocks. My mother has always had one in her house. I just needed something to do in my spare time now that I'm not playing out in my band much. Fun Hobby...

I like: To play golf. Shooting competitive & league darts. Working in electronics (fixing and experimenting with circuits). Hot wiring guitar amplifiers. Repairing and setting up electric and acoustic guitars. I am also an Amateur Radio Operator (holding a "General" class radio license). I live for watching Buffalo Sabres hockey (live or television), just hockey in general. Watching Buffalo Bills football (live or television). I love taking my Cocker Spaniel "Annie" for walks. She loves it too. I love photography. I majored in it in college and loved it. I've always liked taking pictures while composing what I want to take a picture of in my head, and hopefully nailing what I had in mind when I release the shutter. Great... Now I have to go look for my old portfolio of pictures now. LOL... The ideas are starting to pour into my head again. Better recharge my batteries.

I've had several people tell me I have perfect teeth. Always strikes me as a strange thing to comment on. They're just teeth. I guess my dry witted, sarcastic humor is pretty stand-outish. But sometimes I have my off the wall moments as well. I am quite capable of putting my friends in stitches when the situation sets itself up. Friends tell me I'm a sweetheart.

(A) Books: Anything by Stephen King. Also "The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy" series by the late Douglas Adams.

(B) Movies: I love most action movies. I really love horror movies. The scarier, the better. I liked most of the chick flicks that I've seen. My favorite action movies is The Mummy series. My favorite horror flicks are the Blade series. Of course they're more action than horror. I guess my favorite horror flick is the Resident Evil series. My favorite chick flick is probably Pretty Woman. What can I say, I like Julia Roberts. I really like the science fiction stuff. War of the Worlds, Star Wars, Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy and Aeon Flux. I guess I really don't have a favorite movie. I like it all. I guess it just depends on what kind of movie-mood I'm in.

(C) Music: I listen to all forms and styles of music. Except rap and Hip-Hop. OK, I lied. I do like to listen to "some" EMINEM. I prefer to make music by playing live in front of a crowd. I play all styles of music.

(D) Foods: Pretty much anything that doesn't eat me first. I hate brussel sprouts.

(E) Television Shows: My favorite television show is Charmed. Or I should say "was" Charmed, since they had the Series Finale' about 5 years ago. Too bad. That show was the only series I watched since episode 1 about eight years ago. Looking forward to syndication now. I also watch religiously, all of the CSI series as well as the NCIS series. I love to solve mysteries. Am also an avid fan and follower of The "Ghost Hunters" Series, The original as well as Ghost Hunters International and Ghost Hunters Academy. Boo.

(F) Activities: Playing Music Live. Beer tasting. Tropical Fish Keeping. Amateur Radio (Talking to people from all over the world using a two-way transceiver[radio]... Just the radio. Computers. Steel Tipped Darts. (This list is pretty big, so I'll stop now. You get the idea...

I am usually playing out in my band somewhere. Entertaining the crowds, and having a blast doing it. However, lately I haven't been doing anything. Kinda boring actually. Wanna do something?
