I'm a singer/songwriter/bartender in Brooklyn. Graduated from NYU class of 2008 with a BA in Journalism and Music, but that's on hold for now thanks to the lack of jobs in pretty much any field other than the restaurant industry. I grew up in a small town in WV and wound up staying in NYC after school 'cuz it's a pretty cool place that I'd always wanted to come to eventually, anyway.

I'm a total, but we'll get into that later... :) Mostly, I'm just an all-around average guy, really. Not into any "scene" and not really obsessed with my appearance (yes, I drink beer and have a small belly to prove it!)... I'm pretty laid back about everything and definitely open to meeting new people.

What I’m doing with my life

Right now, I'm bartending until I can figure out how to get into the journalism or music industry (or both). I'm also trying to write songs on the side and record in my free time (also on hold right now while my computer is out of commission) while working 5 days and 1 night a week at a bar/restaurant in Brooklyn. I'll tell ya where I work when we chat. ;)

I'm very laid-back. Seriously, I don't really freak out much and am pretty nice to you, even if you're a douchebag. I'm really great at being civil in tough situations without getting walked on too easily... :)

One major thing, though, is that I'm pretty obsessed with Buffy the Vampire Slayer and anything Joss Whedon does (like Dollhouse). Told ya, I'm a geek!

Also into music like Kate Havnevik, Ingrid Michaelson, Natalie Imbruglia, Alanis Morissette and Imogen Heap, as well as classic rock like the Rolling Stones and David Bowie.

Top Movies: Stigmata, Dogma, Labyrinth, Nightmare Before Christmas, Star Wars (the original trilogy, not the new crap), Return to Oz... just to name a few.

Food: BURRITOS!!! Also Spaghetti! And salads. And I'm pretty much willing to try anything. FOOD ROCKS.

Side note: I'll still love you if you're a vegetarian, as long as you don't judge me. Vegans, though, are way too complicated to deal with. I like to try to cook for people, and cooking for a vegan means they'll be pretty picky and also pretty expensive. :(

...thinking about how I need to get on the ball with this recording thing. Also thinking about how I really need more free time. Currently, I'm STILL thinking about what I wanna be for Halloween (I'm updating now on the 27th and still have no clue and no costume. DAMMIT!)...
