My self-summary Propose an edit

My Name is Rocky. I'm 25. I was born and raised in Chalmette, Louisiana. I assumed I'd die there but thanks to a little occurrence that happened August 29, 2005 my hometown was destroyed. I graduated from Hannan High School in 2001. I just finished my courses at Nunez Comm. College to get my EMT-Paramedic license. I just passed my massivly huge State Paramedic test and all that is left is the less hard Practicals stae test. Once I get that I can start my career as a EMT-Paramedic and work on getting my Firemen's license. I love to play guitar and listen to music.Without music i would literally crack. I'm currently in a band with my friends and we should be coming out with our 1st recorded EP sometime in January. I hate all politics and am very much an Anarchist. I also hate Religion; not the gods or deities themselves, but the fanatical people who look down upon you for not worshiping the same god as them. I do however very much enjoy the teachings of Taoism. ****I respect all religions and have my own faith in God, so please don't misconstrue me as a religion opposer.*****

What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit

Well in a month or so I'll be an EMT-Paramedic. Once I get that I can further my medical education to other fields after that. I will also at some point become an EMT-Fire Fighter. I'm also trying to get in better , well, betterer shape i guess. Recently i've been just running 3 miles a day , but i've grown tired of it and have changed to a quicker more "extreme" form or exercising. It takes less time and it helps me gain muscle as well as stay fit. It's win-win baby.

I'm really good at Propose an edit

Playing guitar, bass, drums(kinda). I wouldn't say I'm the greatest guitar or bass player. I pretty much taught myself. I can't read music to save my life... however if I was to listen to a song, I could play it on guitar in about 5 minutes. I know it's not the coolest skill but I like it. I'm really good with music.Music keeps me sane. I'm really good with animals too. I'm also really good at stupidly destroying relationships. I don't know what my problem is...either i'm just not happy with the girl i'm with or i just get bored and lose interest. It's crazy...but I do try my best. Maybe i just haven't found the right girl to peak my interest so to speak.

Either my beard or my sideburns. They also notice that I'm pretty shy..... but once we get to know each other it's like we've known each other for years.
I'm a weirdo... I've been told that I'm extremely shy but I'm insanely charismatic... so yeah... try and decipher that one.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food Propose an edit

I love books about Japan. Mangas (Japanese comics for you non-otakus) and what not. Samurai stories are super awesome. Anything about eastern philosophy is okay with me. My taste in movies range from one end of the spectrum to another. I literally could fill this entire page with movies I love. I love horror and Sci-fi stuff. Really cheesy horror movies are the best. Silent Night Deadly Night 2 might be the zenith of all crap. If you haven't seen it... see it. My top 5 favorite bands are 1. The Pillows 2.Gatsbys American Dream 3.Alkaline Trio 4. MxPx 5. Nirvana. I love all kinds of music. I can handle some rap if it's good and country... well... I don't like country. Mainly I like grungy/thrashy punk rock. Not this so called "punk rock" crap they have now. I don't even like to genre-lize music anyway. Loud, hard, fast bands that sing... not emo scream... sing... cause emo screaming is just stupid. Honestly though... I can usually find good in ALL and ANY music. If I like a song... I like it... if I don't... I don't. Genres mean nothing and just bastardize the actual music. I hate when the music is judged by the clothes it's performers wear and the "genre" it is "supposedly" a part of. If you like it... listen to it... if people question you.... who cares? Have your own feelings.

Okay, ladies... if we ever talk and have a conversation, please have a very open mind. Apparently some girls don't like different opinions and different ways of going about things and would much rather talk about how they're going out this weekend and getting "drunk" at the club... those aren't exactly my interests. I don't expect you to be a genius and quite frankly, I don't want you to be... I just want to be able to have a conversation on stuff that doesn't concern alcohol, clubbing, or Fergie and doesn't bore me to the point i actually fall asleep... that's all... also... if we've been talking for 20 minutes... please don't ask me to tell you what I like and don't like about you... I DON'T KNOW YOU!! Also... I enjoy cartoons and I love anime and manga quite a bit... I don't force it on anyone, I keep it to myself... so if you're not down with it, fine, but don't tell me that's a "turn off" and disregard me because that's just retarded. Saying it turns you off is like saying one specific interest I have is unacceptable to you therefore making every other interest I have non-existent.
