My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hello there, welcome to my little nook of this here website.

Do people still say website?

I'm here looking for whatever comes my way. I've given up on trying to figure out what I need or want from a partner/dater/sexer, so my new strategy is just to remain open to possibility. If anything I write here tickles your fancy, say hi! Or pumpernickel, or whatever else tickles your fancy.

A mixture of silly and serious, occupying the extremes of both depending on the weather. I take the well-being of others very seriously and so spend much of my time educating myself on the state of the world and the people within it. I think the world would be a better place if more people stopped and considered the experiences of others. Radical, I know.

I'm now in my second job in a management role in a dairy plant, so I guess I'm officially a dairy fairy. An intense mix of hard physical work, mental gymnastics, and yogurt. My life has led a path closely linked with food -- for better, for worse -- and my goal is to make a living working with food in a way that makes a positive difference in this world, on any scale.

Outside of work I spend most of my time with friends, reading, or driving around aimlessly. I have an unquenchable thirst for knowledge, which translates to too much time spent thinking. Ongoing mission -- do more do-ing.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
The most honest answer I can put here is "living it". Often I don't really know how to accomplish this (as there are so very many options), but the counterpoint to that is that every action I take is made with intent.

Everything that happens does because of what preceded it, so I am careful to choose steps that lead me down a path towards a potential future that gives me warm fuzzies.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Learning those lessons we learn, feeling those feelings we feel, eating those eats we eat, doing those things we do.

Generally, I'm pretty capable at most of the things I pick up (aside from juggling and checkers) and get deeply into the things that pique my interest.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Undoubtedly that I'm running around making airplane noises with my arms spread wide.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I don't play favourites, but I'm reading a lot right now about how the world works and how the brain works.

Some of my favourite movies include I <3 Huckabees, Rocky Horror, I am Love, and others. Anything Tilda Swinton touches turns to gold.

Six Feet Under is my favourite go-to memento mori.

So much of the music. Jenny Lewis/Rilo Kiley and Bjork probably have the most airtime in my life.

Anything made with love.
But especially if it is made with love and delicious.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Learning, challenge, quiet, noise, stillness, movement.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How am I not myself?

What really matters?

Who took the cookie from the cookie jar?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
yep! I think I am, at least.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
(I took the cookie from the cookie jar.)
