Honestly I don't think my own profile does me justice, but here it goes...

I’m smart, fun, perceptive and adventurous. I like to try new things and explore life. I am a very social person, but am content on my own, and value my time with myself.

My horoscope says I have strength of will and force of character, which I believe is true. I am a strong personality. I speak my mind and am very independent.(Been described as a "firecracker" before.) I don’t wait for others to join if there is something out there that I really want to do.

I lived in Arizona for the last few years and am glad to be back East.

I'm into most sports and actually watch football on Sundays. NBA playoffs are great too. Or at least they used to be. Poor Cleveland ;-( NO HEAT!!

I love to eat good food and drink red wine, although shots of Jager work in dives. I like socializing, laughing, talking sh*t and having serious conversations. Museums, historical places and random road trips are cool. Travel is big on my list and seeing most (if not all) of the world is a goal of mine.

Books: The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo and the rest of the series, the Da Vinci Code, The Alchemist, the Harry Potter series (they are good:-), the Red Tent, The Vampire Lestat, Imajica, The Kite Runner, more novels, historical fiction, history and travel books. So many books, so little time. Depressing too, that so many book stores are going the way of the dinosaur.

Movies: Terms of Endearment, The Princess Bride, Silence of the Lambs, Drugstore Cowboy,American Beauty, The Piano, Last of the Mohicans, Jaws, Shag, Y Tu Mama Tambien, The Reader, Boogie Nights, Shawshank, Goodfellas, Fight Club, Magnolia, Vicky Christina Barcelona, Love Actually, Urban Cowboy, Harry Potter movies, British films, independent films, dramas and foreign films.

Radio: NPR in the mornings.

TV: United States of Tara, True Blood, The Amazing Race, Law and Order, Bones, Without a Trace, Criminal Minds, X-files, The Tudors,Game of Thrones.

Music: Here are just a few picks.
Classic Rock: Pink Floyd, Zeppelin, The Faces, Black Sabbath, Janis Joplin, Hendrix, Doors, Neil Young, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, and many, many more.
Rock: White Zombie, Modest Mouse, Metallica, Melvins, Jane's Addiction, Queens of the Stone Age, White Stripes, Alice in Chains, Morphine, Nirvana, etc.
Alternative: The Cure, Beck, Mazzy Star, Portishead, Radiohead, etc.
Hip Hop: Biggie, Robust, Ice Cube, Beastie Boys, Wu-tang, and anything that has a good bass line.

I also like singer/songwriter stuff, oldies, electronic music, and can dig classical and world music. I am open to a lot of different genres and would love to hear some new suggestions. I'm always a bit behind on music.

Food: I heart all kinds of food. Pizza is pretty much a must have on a weekly basis though.
