My self-summary
Been through some ups and downs as of late and swamped with med school so this *might* not be the profile you are looking for. I'm mad busy and mostly sticking around okc as a moderator and to see what you wild folks are up to. However, if you are a kind person in a similar situation looking for a once-in-a-while date and makeout kind of friend or someone to paint and draw with, please feel free to message me and don't be offended if I don't get back to you--life just happens like that, you know!

Wannabe social worker-turned-medical student, recent Phoenix to Seattle transplant, in a totally awesome open long term relationship with EmmaThatsColdMan, but looking for friends, art buddies, people who know of good house shows, makeouts, and adventures! Identify as "queer" more than bi since there are definitely more than two genders, but whatever okc.
What I’m doing with my life
Studying lots, enjoying Seattle sun, swimming, running, photographing, drinking, dancing, biking, running an HIV testing organization, and doing laundry once in a while.
Portlandia mirrors my life a little too accurately sometimes.
I'm in medical school and hoping to be like a socialist pediatrician or something with reproductive justice and HIV care focus, but a few years to figure that out yet. Mostly interested in social justice medicine and trying to make the medical system a little less racist, transphobic, classist, colonialist, ableist, sizeist, etc.
I used to work as a sexual health educator and immigration and prison abolition activist, so probably getting back into those sorts of things around Seattle again.
I’m really good at
Making messes and blowing bubbles
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm a tall lanky dude who has a ridiculous grin. Or that guy trying to run after the bus (oh why did it have to leave on time?!)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: JRR and JK, John le Carre, Sherman Alexie, Tom Robbins, Carl Hiaasen, bell hooks, Chandra Mohanty, Rachel Remen, Uma Narayan, Andrea Smith

Movies: Eternal sunshine, waking life, rent, artsy fartsy shit

Shows: GoT, Scrubs, Firefly, Dr. Who before it got awful, Elementary

Music: talib kweli, Sigur ros, patsy cline, Margot and the nuclear so and sos
The six things I could never do without
Please steal all my shit. If you could leave my dog and some food, and maybe a bike that would be cool, though.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The miracles of the human body.

How awesome consent is.

The injustice of wearing pants.

How adorable Seattle is when it's drunk on sunlight.
On a typical Friday night I am
"Hiking" Capitol Hill, avoiding raindrops, trying to remember what stars look like.

Or battening down the hatches for a Netflix marathon with beer.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
My dog weighs six pounds and I proudly walk him around, sometimes in god-awful adorable outfits

I really like that thing you like to geek out over, whatever it is.

You can check out my art school photos if you want. I keep saying I'll put sketches and sculptures up too, but life is too busy to make to-dos into to-dones.

I love consent, which means platonic adventures are awesome, cuddling and nothing else is awesome, makeouts are awesome, sex and all that weird stuff is awesome, but most of all communication and consent are awesome. Chances are pretty good that I'm down for things you like. Message me and find out?

I'm also a site moderator on here, so best watch yerself!
I’m looking for
  • Guys and girls who like bi guys
  • Ages 21–99
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, short-term dating, casual sex
You should message me if
No, really, I don't have like any time. But, you should still message me if you are anyone who is cool and wants to go find good beer, good art, good music, good dancing, and wants to makeout afterwards. If we can't find any art, I guess we will just have to make some.

You are a cute boy who isn't some MRA/manarchist/etc
Or
You want to read things aloud to me, or have me read to you
Or
You wanna practice Spanish with me.
Or
You are a weird art person who wants someone to talk about art/make art with/go to galleries/trade art/model/help with your next performance art piece.
Or
You want to trade massages (I was Thai Massage certified in 2009, but have since let it expire as I don't practice anymore)
Or
You are looking for a third, or you wanna play with sub/Dom power dynamics and talk the politics of them as well.
Or
You are looking for someone to play Dominion or Pandemic or some other strange board game with.
Or
You are just looking for friends in Seattle! We can go on cool adventures!
Or
You just want someone to deliver you a bottle of wine and a back rub and then leave and never interact again. Who doesn't want that?
Or, (best of all)
You just want to send a nice message that says cutesy kind things! I like that!

I tend to be pitiful at online messaging, so feel free jump ahead and to move right on to the "lets meet here at this time" messages--i won't be offended or think you are a creep especially if you are honest about your intentions.

Hell, just message me if you read this far. You are probably a neat person!

We likely won't get along if you answered in your questions that you prefer to date your race, you wouldn't even think of going on a date with someone with HIV (I am neg, but don't be a stigmatizer) or that you think people with lower IQs shouldn't be allowed to reproduce. If you want clarification as to why these are problematic, feel free to ask.
