I mean, talking about myself is cool and all, but that feeling of celebrity and importance that comes with having someone write my virtue-extolling biography is just so addictively gratifying. Ok, so I'm not nearly that self-absorbed in reality...MAYBE one quarter. A third at MOST. Now that we've got that out of the way, I'm actually a decent and soulful human being. Here are some cliches about me, in no particular order: I'm a fun, down-to-earth, open minded guy with a great heart and a passion for life. Blah. I feel like I just gave the same wedding speech that EVERYONE in north america seems to write (thank you for that, Google...). Fortunately, I don't edit wedding videos anymore, and I have SLIGHTLY more depth to my life than cheesy cliches provide.

I spend a lot of my time doing and teaching fire and circus performing. Stumble across any wayward fire spinners setting the night ablaze in downtown Toronto and you can bet you'll find me there. No idea what I'm talking about? Try the drum circle at Trinity Bellwoods or the Promise parties at Cherry Beach this summer; those, and Kensington Market, have become my second home. I love what my life has become. By my nature, I need to look for the answer to everything I encounter; ironically, what I've come to learn is that the answer, for me, is to find the magic in everything I can, and to bring that magic into my life. Happiness to me is to feel a little more magical each day, and to invoke that same fascination in others. I have other careers, but this is what fulfills me.

One day I'll make the cover of the Wheaties box...when Circus makes the olympic roster. The year 3012 by my estimate. Till then I'm making the most of my fringe culture and lifestyle. I'm shooting photos and I'm selling houses, building office spaces and setting fire to things for money. Ok, fire isn't paying all the bills just yet...but that'll come in due time. For now, I'm in the arson business mainly for the love.

I'm often without arm hair and periodically covered in burns. If you're confused as to why, you haven't been paying attention. Refer to items one and two on my list of six things I won't live without. I also recommend first-year philosophy for an intro to deductive reasoning... :P

I had a soul patch until I set my face on fire in a fire-eating show; what was left of it I shaved off. I kept the chops though...I just grow them ever downward now.

You're attractive, but more than just the sum of your looks, you're NOT a complete pushover, you're playful, and you like a challenge.
