I'm in Houston for college, originally from Dallas. I've met many people from around the world and continually find the experience quite eye-opening. I'm a people person - I enjoy talking and reading in between the lines. That being said, the pursuit of knowledge through study is very important to me, and I'm hoping to attend grad school for my PhD in the near(ish) future.

Living it. I find out that as soon as we make plans, this guy named Murphy really loves to work his laws. Of course, I still have plans: a PhD in Chemical Engineering followed by a cushy job teaching at an overprivileged school where I wouldn't have to worry about job security and making enough to support a family would be a nice start...and not a bad end, either...

Life, liberty, the pursuit of a perceived happiness. We choose our paths not because they are easy nor because they are hard. We choose them when we believe (sometimes mistakenly) that the path will bring us the most happiness relative to the others. Dreamers will dream, and dreams never die, but sometimes they are forgotten and, like lost souls, wander amongst the minds of those who follow your signs.
I spend a lot of time talking and thinking about the world. I constantly monitor news on nearly every subject available (generally bypass celebrity news for sake of time-value). I believe that its the utmost importance of every person in this place to realize that at the base of their existence, they are but a citizen of the human race. We cannot let prejudice and hate pervade our existence, lest we surely destroy ourselves before our primes.
Love. It's really important.
On a less serious note (but perhaps tastier), I enjoy designing new drink recipes for my bar!

Hosting or attending a party, as large as several hundred people, as small as one other person. I have a bar in my room and enjoy entertaining varying-sized groups of friends and strangers.
Geeking it up with friends, playing games of one sort or another.
Talking with friends.
Sleeping - sometimes I haven't slept much the previous week, and dreamers need to dream.
