My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Let's see..this is the second time I've had to do this, and it's not any easier this time around. I was on this site for awhile, and didn't have great results, but I've seen this online dating thing work for people, so I'm back!

Honestly, I'm very simple. I love to laugh, I don't like unnecessary drama, and I love my friends. I balance all that out with working hard at my job, one which I actually went to school for and have a degree in. I love sports - I played softball from t-ball through university, and I will give you a run for your money if we watch the big football game together. I'm very active all around. I'm a carpenter for a theatre, so I'm doing my best to "keep up with the guys" which includes power tools, and lugging around heavy things daily. I love to hang out, shoot pool, sing, go to karaoke, snowboard, walk in the park, bike, etc etc. You would be hard pressed to come up with an adventure that I was not willing to go on!

That being said, I'm not here looking for a hookup. So, if you've read this far, don't message me if that's all you want. I want to build a friendship, and meet someone I could be with. I'm in no rush by any means, and don't believe in forcing a relationship, but I am looking for something serious in the long run.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Moved to NYC in Sept 2011, to pursue my career in theatre. Right now, I am a technician for an off-Broadway theatre company, building sets and making sure things don't break...and when they inevitably do...I fix them ;) I love to create things, no matter the media, and I just hope I always have a venue to follow that desire!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
So, confidence and humily run a fine line with this one, huh??

I consider myself a jack of all trades. I've been able to accomplish anything I've put my mind to. That being said, anything that is a skill, or requires patience and dexterity are my best bets. Aside from that, I'm a really great listener. I can approach any problem from all viewpoints, so I can really help those who come to me in need.

This category could easily become a novel, and I think best suited for conversation, but to give some idea...

Books - Hunger Games, Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, Pride and Prejudice

Movies - Jurassic Park, Jaws, A Few Good Men, Serenity, Runaway Bride, all Disney, Adjustment Bureau, Lord of the Rings, Princess Bride

Shows - Downton Abbey, Firefly, Friends, Fresh Prince, LOST (first 4 seasons!), Gilmore Girls, White Collar, Burn Notice, Walking Dead, Game of Thrones

Music - I listen to all music except super hard metal, overly explicit rap, and some country. Other than that, it's all about what mood I'm in.

Food - Italian, Chinese, Mexican...I'm a little bit picky, but I've got a knack for finding something delicious anywhere I go!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My family and best friend.
My faith.
My pencil and knife. Work is hard w/o them!
Cheezits and Coke. The ultimate snack!
My phone. I'd be lying if I didn't list it.
...I don't really need much!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
the future, and what it has in store. However, I'm doing my best to just actively live in the present, and enjoy living in this big city.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
It definitely varies! Basically, whatever helps wind down after what is sure to have been a long week!
