My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Dashing and daring, courageous and caring, faithful and friendly,
With stories to share. (They are the Gummi Bears)

I'm a San Francisco native, born and raised. I'm also a sixth generation ABC (American Born Chinese).

While not the case quite the case anymore, I used to be known as the "coolest nerd" -- non-sarcastically of course.

While I do think I am a still a bit of an introvert, I'm doing a pretty good job of pretending to not be.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I spent over a decade working at a probably the most popular San Francisco based educational non-profit but recently made the jump to the corporate world -- I'm at a web 1.0 dotcom that was purchased by probably the most famous Palo Alto based computer company.. luckily our office wasn't moved out of San Francisco/SOMA.

I have both Architect and Engineer in my title.

More importantly; delicious food is easily in reach. I have a ton of vacation time and a nice list of places I want to visit -- What else can one ask for?

I have been using my vacation time to take foodie weekend trips to satiate my need for something new. Most recently Honolulu, and Chicago where I got to have goat belly, cheddar malasadas, and even a hot dog consisting of a duck sausage with foie gras on top. Hong Kong, Tokyo, Seattle, New York and Vancouver are likely next.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Yoga, contortion, acrobatics. Things that require flexibility (literally and figuratively). I have a trophy for breaking the SFUSD sit and reach record in high school.

Dance Dance Revolution, racing (autocross and HPDE (sponsored by Mazdaspeed Motorsports Development!)), Tetris, Puzzle Fighter, Bubble Bobble, Bust a Move, Street Fighter II, Mario Kart.. among other classic games -- nerdy things in general are all good.

Cooking, I spend a lot of time in the kitchen experimenting and I'm always excited to try new recipes.

I want to pick up some woodworking skills so I can handle some home improvement projects I've been thinking about. Thinking about getting a TechShop membership, or at least take classes there. (Mostly so I can build my own arcade machines from scratch)

Food; my next meal, past meals that have been amazing.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
There is no such thing as a typical Friday night for me. Things tend to change and things are usually exciting.

Every so often I go on a spontaneous trip weekend trip. I could be anywhere, but probably at a delicious venue somewhere random.

I tend to host dinner parties every month or two. It gives me an excuse to cook.

If there is a track event on the weekend, I could be spending the night in the garage preparing the car for a grueling day of racing and triple digit speeds. Those are the most exhausting weekends, for sure.

Of course, there are those normal kinds of Fridays that aren't that different than anyone else. Eating, drinking, and being merry. Laying on the sofa and having a relaxing night in. Perhaps being at the gym if it's going to be a quiet night. There are a lot of possibilities.

If Thursday counts, I'm often at Nightlife at the Academy of Sciences or at The Exploratorium After Dark.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I don't mind having a spa day. I'm not averse to getting having a mani/pedi.

If you're super cool (and fun!). Weird is good too. I like weird. I think I'm weird if you couldn't tell from my profile. Actually, maybe substitute weird for quirky. That sounds better.
