I'm on a journey where I hope to be a better person each day. I don't always succeed but I try. I keep myself very busy but still find some down time that would be nice to have someone to spend with. I love dancing and portobello mushrooms... I dont particularly love either but it was the example that the okcupid staff gives, so I figured I'd include it.. I do love the portobello mushroom sandwiches from Saturn Grill... that is true.

I work at an animal hospital day practice where we do spays/neuters, vaccinations, etc... and an emergency animal hospital at night.. where we do more crazy things like big laceration repairs, pull fish hooks out of eyes... lol, I do dog rescue, I have several dogs, I own my house, I hate mowing my lawn (so it's a jungle right now), I love music, I love my new phone, I love my friends, I love my family, I love my dogs .. and i love your mom.

I'm from new jersey, I've lived in oklahoma for 4 years..

Evidentally God has different plans for me than to move to chickasha.. so I am trying to work around his plan than try to force my plan....

I'd like to get outta here and move to the mountains somewhere.. i love nature and scenic things.

I'm growing up. I'm learning how to be an adult and live life on life's terms. Like I said above, I work, I don't go to school right now I hate school and can't stand the thought of going back right now. I'm one of "those girls" now and have crossed over to the dark side.. I love the twilight series and just finished the last book. I'm completely obesessed with it.. :) I love reading so I do it quite often.. when a book can grab my attention.. as of late, i haven't much time to read..

I'm a good singer, in fact I wouldn't mind trying out for American Idol. I enjoy saying funny things to make people laugh. I'm good at making people feel special.

I've read countless books in my lifetime but my "favorite" ones are the ones I spend my time reading lately.. which include the Twilight series, the sookie stackhouse series... the harper connelly series.. Harry Potter series...A million little pieces and My friend Leonard... Mitch Albom's For one more day..

TV- I can't believe they didn't list TV here but here it goes.. House, The Cleaner, Ghost Whisperer, The Dead Zone, Family Guy, Law & Order SVU, CSI, Cold case...Glee is going to be quite possibly the best show this fall...

Movies- Labyrinth, Flight of the navigator, Across the Universe, Martian Child, Juno, Good Luck Chuck, Moulin Rouge, Rent, The Notebook, Crash, ladder 49,....so many more..

Music- honestly there's too many to give an accurate account of my music taste. It's varietal. That's really all I know. Ranging from Classic rock, 80's, 90's, indie, folk, acoustic.. etc.
Indigo girls, Dave Matthews, Nickel Creek, Imogen Heap, Girlyman, K's Choice, the list is really never ending.. always evolving...

Food- I love a good steak, fish or chicken, I tried to be a vegetarian for a little while.. my body missed meat.. and wasn't ready to be full on veg... I love italian and mexican.. I'm open to always trying something once.. twice if I forget I didn't like it the first time..

if there's even a way to pin point what i think of... i think so often.. sometimes fleeting thoughts...sometimes clear cut ones that make sense.. sometimes ones that don't make sense. i think a lot.

there is no typical friday night but I might be working... or playing poker at a friend's house... or singing karaoke at a local karaoke bar... or playing pool... stuff like that.. or I may be sitting around at home with my puppies catching up on my DVR for the week

That my dogs sleep in bed with me and I let them lick my face.. couldn't imagine a life where they didn't.

I'm a sucker for a manly man.. one with sexy scruff and broad shoulders, I'm also a sucker for tattoos.. not trashy ones.. but sexy ones.. how one determines that is all individually based.. so there. (this doesn't mean I'm vain and only will talk to someone who has this.. it's just a soft spot for me)

you have a genuine affinity for life. You love helping others. You strive to better yourself. You know that you were created by something bigger than yourself and respect that something. You don't need any substances to function and be you. You enjoy snuggling (that would be a plus). You know how to treat a wonderful person. You enjoy being important and feeling as though you are. You love animals. You are honest and faithful. You are a good listener but can take the conversation on too. You enjoy the simple things in life, ice cream, cool nights, beautiful sunsets, snuggly puppies, touching someone's hair gently, holding hands, mac and cheese.

And you should message me if you don't have a million pictures of yourself on your profile where you either a. have 2 beers in hand b. make a reference to how drunk you were in the pic or c. are about to snort a line of coke... those would all be no go's..

and.. you should speak moderately properly. Not to say that i'm miss grammar USA but the word Height does not have a TH at the end there for pronouncing it with the "th" at the end of the word like.. heith. nope.. that's not right. that's just an example.... :) Not to say that it would be a deal breaker it just doesn't make you look that smart.

Additionally.. you should message me if you enjoy silly fun humor... and are able to say it back at appropriate times.
