I guess you could say that I'm not your typical girl. I believe
that everyone should be given a chance to prove themselves
regardless of superficial things. You never know what's out there
until you grab it by the hand and take it somewhere. That goes for
everything, not just dating or relationships. I feel as though I am
a good person. I try my best to do the right things. I volunteer
with the American Cancer Society as often as I can and donate
blood. I don't like seeing people suffer. I try my best to do my
part to help stop the suffering of others. I pride myself for that.
I just moved to Lathrop, CA. I'm originally from Santa Cruz and
already kinda miss it. I mean that only from a weather standpoint
though. It's pretty hot here. I will be attending school in
Stockton starting in January. I'll be working on my transfer
requirements for a Major in Chemistry (with emphasis in
Biochemistry) and a Minor in Biology. I'm ambivalent about what
direction I want to go once I acheive this. Either Medical Research
or Forensics.
I'm also trying to get back into shape. I'm not you're typical
skinny California girl. I love being active, hiking, dancing,
jogging, beach walks. I want to run a marathon and learn all kinds
of dance.
Disc
golf is a lot of fun and a GREAT workout, especially at our
course. It's reputed to be one of the most difficult in the
country.
I love to
write. I
don't get to do it as often as I like, but I do have a fair hand
with words. I like to sing
karaoke too. I love to
cook and
create. Something about being in a
kitchen really pulls to me. I love to just create. I can make
people laugh pretty easily. I have a very witty, comical sense of
humor and I love making someone smile.
I love teaching myself stuff and am pretty good learning things.
Right now I'm teaching myself the piano. I'd also like to learn the
drums and different kinds of dance.
Research. I'm really good at researching things. Right now I'm
planning a pretty extensive trip to Europe and have been
researching the crap out of that continent. When I go, I'll know
more about it than most Europeans. :) Not really, but I do love
researching and planning my trip.
My big brown eyes. My lips. Almost everyone comments on my lips and
how full they are. I sometimes get compared to Angelina Jolie (whom
I adore). Mine, however, are all natural. ;)And my personality.
It's quite prominent. I love being me and I love being out there
and living.
If I had to pick a favorite book it would be 'The Lovely Bones' by
Alice Sebold, I think. I love to
read. Period. Anything and everything. I
love Dean Koontz, Sherrilyn Kenyon, JD Robb, John Saul, Stephanie
Meyer, anything mysterious, romantic, adventurous, murderous,
vamperic, witty, charming, fun, deep, meaningful. Anything
really.
Anything and everything
Tim Burton. I cant pick a favorite
movie. There are too many. I do, however, love going to the movies.
I am a big movie buff. I love adventure, romance, comedy, horror is
a big one (I love being scared), documentaries, anything that I can
learn something from or just have a good time with it. Boondock
Saints, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, The Nightmare Before Christmas,
Superbad, 300, Thirteen Ghosts, Juno, Hard Candy. . . I can't name
anywhere near all the movies I love.
I LOVE most kinds of
music. Music is one of my
BIGGEST PASSIONS. I
don't know what I would do if I didn't have music. I wouldn't be
able to function. Rock, Alternitive, Country, I like most styles.
SHINEDOWN!!!,
BREAKING
BENJAMIN!!, Atreyu, Armor for Sleep, The Used, Flyleaf,
Paramore, Straylight Run, Street Drum Corps, Panic! At The Disco,
Kings of Leon, Avenged Sevenfold, Hinder, Nickleback, Bullet for my
Valentine, Three Days Grace, Red, Chevelle, Saosin, Incubus,
Yellowcard, Lifehouse, Godsmack, System of a Down, Korn, Mudvayne.
There's really too many. I'm not even gonna try to list all the
country artists I like... Lol. I'm not really picky about that. I
love it live too. I'm a big concert fanatic. I've seen a lot of
bands. I saw Shinedown for the first time in San Fransisco in '08
and they were amazing. And by a freak fluke, we were able to meet
them and get autographs and photos. It was one of the most
monumental nights of my life. Couldn't have gone more perfect. I've
also seen and met Breaking Benjamin (except for Ben, he didn't come
to the afterparty). They were amazing. There are way more
concerts I've been able to
go to aside from the ones mentioned, too. I just love music.
Absolutely love it.
SUSHI!!!! I could live off of sushi and be completely happy for the
rest of my life. Anything out of the ocean. Anything Italian.
Sun-dried tomato bagels. Fruit snacks. Salads from Plutos. Pitas
from Pita Pit. Mongolian BBQ. Any kind of BBQ. Fruit. However, I'm
always a sucker for a yummy
grilled cheese with tomato soup,
too. Grilled cheese makes me happy. I also love to cook. I'm sure
I've mentioned that some other places in here as well, but there
you have it. I'll pretty much try anything put in front of me and
even if I don't like something, I'll always revist it. I'm
constantly looking to expand my palate.
The inner workings of the human mind and the actions that result in
the use (or lack there of) of it.
It really depends. I love to go out but I love to stay in too. I
like to hang out with my friends. Either a
dinner in or
dancing out. It doesn't matter to
me. I am a very sociable person so I love being aroung my friends
and family and meeting new people.
I could be
reading
or out at a
Karaoke event. (I LOVE Karaoke) Out to
the
movies, or a
quite dinner in. Watching the stars at the
beach or dancing at a local club. I'm
pretty much up for anything depending on what kind of mood I'm in.
I'm fun and spunky and adore spontaneity immensely.
I'm afraid of spiders. I like the feel of the tattoo machine even
if I hate needles (I have three so far and want a few more). I have
three piercings (only want one or two more). I'm not reed thin but
not grotesquely huge either (I may be working on getting my ideal
body back but I don't have it yet, if you don't like that, I'm
sorry. I'm an awesome person and a great friend and don't have to
be anorexic to prove it to you). I actually care about what happens
to people.
You're curious. You feel you can challenge me. You know that a day
is not better spent unless you're laying naked in bed with awesome
pillow talk and TV-on-DVD. :) You care about others just as much as
you care about yourself. You can provide meaningful conversation
just as much as random, pointless conversation. You know what the
word eloquent means AND are an avid demonstrater of the term.
On a side note, you should NOT message me if you are not genuine. I
get so weary of aligning myself with people who are one person in
the beginning and, once you get to know them, change into something
unexpected. I completely appreciate honesty. I'm not fragile, I can
handle whatever truth there is as long as it's genuine and honest.
