My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am a rambling man and love seeing new country; I have traveled most of the West while working conservation jobs with a non-profit and the Park Service. I am originally from the Midwest, and the first place I moved to was Spokane, WA, right out of high school. I lived here for two years while going to SFCC before transferring to Evergreen. That was 10+ years ago, and it is weird to be back, but I've really come to appreciate the area.

P.S.: In Flagstaff now.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Currently I am working in conservation, but my reason for coming back to the PNW is to look at graduate school in 2013.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Finding wild foods & bar trivia.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My eyebrows apparently, and that I ask a lot of questions. Not like "where's the Coke machine" type questions, but I usually like to get a little bit of people's story and see what makes them tick.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I hate that people try to paint a picture of themselves by their interests, but I think it pre-selects for likemindedness to a degree.

Books: Desert Solitaire & Infinite Jest & Still Life with Woodpecker

Movies: American Beauty, Terminator 2, Wonder Boys, The Hunt for Red October, Trainspotting, The Big Lewboski and the Coen brothers in general, Se7en....I can hold a conversion by paraphrasing movies quotes (but only one in a hundred people actually gets it).

Music: Low, Cursive, Get Up Kids, El Ten Eleven, Wire, & The Velvet fucking Underground. The Lonesome Crowded West is the best record ever made, and if you disagree you're just wrong.

Shows: I don't watch TV live, but It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is awesome. It speaks to my blue collar and not-P.C. sense of humor. Breaking Bad is great too, but everybody thinks likewise so that doesn't tell you much.
