I'm flattered that a woman recently wrote this to me: "I realize that the way you speak your truth and how you seem open to the mysteries all around us is what I am drawn to in you. You seem so comfortable with getting close and really showing up. I just want to tell you how refreshing and special that is for me to be around."
For the past 2 years I've been going back and forth between my long-time home in Boston and the Berkeley area. I recently made the decision to move here and I'm now getting settled.
I originally went west to assist at personal growth workshops for the Human Awareness Institute (www.hai.org) and the Bay area's rich variety of growth opportunities was key in drawing me back. I'm excited by how much there is to learn out there about myself and my relationship towards others.
Given my desire to explore, experience, take in, and grow, I've come to realize that I no longer have the proverbial Long-Term Relationship as a goal and have become interested in a wider range of possibilities. I would like to explore relationships with women who are open-minded, comfortable with their sensuality, similarly interested in experiencing new emotionally, spiritually, and physically satisfying connections, and are open to whatever may develop...even though that may or may not lead to monogamy.
An unexpected result of this approach is that I'm no longer looking at our meetings as job interviews ("Am I right for you?" "Oops, I can't live with that, you're out!"), which has been very honest, joyful, and freeing for both myself and the women I meet.
So what else can I tell you about me? My world is expanding daily and I'm growing by leaps and bounds...for me the glass is 3/4 full!
I'm in great shape and health. My friends made sure that I joined them hiking Mt. Katahdin in Maine, and it was quite a challenge in the rain - have you ever climbed up a waterfall?
For me, almost every day is filled with new adventures. A while back I solo-explored Ecuador and would love to share with you the amazing photos I took in The Galapagos. And had you joined me on the drive to CA you would have seen the over-the-top Christmas lights exhibition in Tulsa, the sun igniting the rocks in Sedona, and a light snow nestled quietly on Painted Desert.
I'm keenly aware that life is short and I'm thrilled at how I've blossomed over the past few years. I'd love for you to join me on this adventure. Where would YOUR dreams lead us?
