My self-summary

I resort to making lists on these things because I'm crippled by the so-many things I want to say. I guess it's a way of being efficient, or lazy, if you prefer. I also feel like I come off really dry or stiff. I think the best thing to do is just message me, and we can get some sort of rapport goin'.
What I’m doing with my life
Just graduated with an MFA in creative writing. So yeah, doing that, writing creatively. I also teach ESL in Berkeley. I enjoy working in the arts, education and overall things that defy homogeneity and corporation (unless it's in relation to choral singing).

Attempting to sponge out any douche-y sounding things in my OK profile. Don't think that's going too well.
I’m really good at
Being the life-of-the-party. I don't necessarily love being the center of attention, but it happens.

Trivia.

Faux polyglottism.

Driving.

I'm very good at engaging in heated discussions. I have the stamina and conviction to stick it out to the end. That's either good or very, very bad.

Controlling vibrato.

Wearing hats.

Settling the bill. Getting things for free. Small talk. Big talk. Sleeping in. Sex.
The first things people usually notice about me
My voice. The volume of it. Maybe they first notice my clothing. The volume of it. I dress so well, at times, it's distracting. That's mock bravado, by the way.

Things that make me move. Or move me. Including and not limited to Robyn, Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Alphabeat, Sia, Annie Lennox, The Cure, Andrew Bird, etc...I drive, so incidentally I've cultivated quite the ear for top 40. I love pop. Nothing is wrong with melody and rhythm.

Food

Spicy foods; Indian and Mexican are probably on the top of my list. Then Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Mediterranean in no particular order.

On a typical Friday night I am
There was a time in my life after I graduated from undergrad that I went out five to six times a week. That part of my life I have put away.

Fridays I enjoy the company of friends, preferably at a house with beer, wine and good conversation. If I do go out, I enjoy lounge-y spaces where you can talk and cavort.

OR Karaoke-ing. But I really do that throughout the week. It's not unique to Fridays.

On occasion, I'll tear up a dance floor. I owe it to the dance gods.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have been in love multiple times.

I was not circumcised at birth, but I am cut.

I live in the East Bay.

*The answer does not exist. By admitting something 'most' private, the second most private, un-admitted thing thus becomes the most private, making the admission obsolete. Right?
