My previous summary was primarily comprised of cheeky lyrics from an obscure comedy show on HBO; this may have confused the uninitiated.
That pretty much sums me up. I have a tendency to seem aloof or maybe i am, who knows? I can come across as shy; my friends can attest that i am anything but that. I enjoy self effacing humor that teeters on narcissism, but I promise I'm only halfway kidding. I have a penchant for bawdy humor and behavior that I rarely try to contain. I thought this would be funnier when I started writing it, but now I'm getting bored so...

wonderfully underwhelming my youthful aspirations; living like a character out of a bukowski novel as i drink, dance, laugh, sing and fret while stumbling beautifully towards fulfilling the potential i subconsciously avoid but will inevitably realize. At times I create art, build furniture, make things, mix cocktails, make money. It's a beautiful struggle.

finding things, losing things, fixing things, building things, cooking things, hearing things, doing things, showing things and knowing things, drinking things, mixing things, kissing things...

As of late, I'd say the scar on my cheek that makes me look like a smoldering Byronic hero. Think "scarred, secretive, sexy, soap opear star".

movies: I love the films of Alejandro Jodorowsky; with or without sound they are visually stunning, complex tales filled with beautiful symbolism. Right now Sante Sangre is my favorite to screen for people. Searching for the Wrong Eyed Jesus is an amazing documentary I was recently exposed to. The Weather Underground (doc), Man in the Sand (doc), Secretary, Christopher Nolan films, the 3 Colors Trilogy by Krzysztof Kieślowski, Network, Cool Hand Luke, the Seventh Seal, 21 Jump Street (better than I expected), Coen Bros. films, Wes Anderson films, Lars von Trier films, the occasional summer blockbuster. I've seen a lot, I like a lot...too much to list.

as far as food goes, i like just about everything. I particularly like spicy food. I take pride in preparing meals and cocktails for the people I care about, though strangers are welcome too. I do alright in the kitchen and enjoy sharing.

i don't really need much at all. friends and family maybe? Oh, my bike. Don't steal my bike. I really like riding my bike.
