What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
New York is my playground, and my "office". Love taking advantage of all the opportunities of this city. Working in real estate, mostly residential sales on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, and being self employed, means I have lots of flexibility. I have one grown son and a brand new baby grand daughter. I am really loving that experience. I have spent a lot of time volunteering for organizations and causes I believe in.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Communication. Project Planning. Volunteering for causes I believe in. Empathy. Compassion. Laughter.

Reading a lot lately since I joined a book club. My own choices range from biography to historical fiction, detectives to pretty full range of fiction as long as it is well written, finely observed, meaningful. My Pandora stations range from Abby Lincoln to the Beatles, Gotye to Paul Dresher, Marvin Gaye to John Coltrane. Love good movies, very disappointed in most of the new ones out there. I enjoy going to the theater since I have moved to NY.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Long walks in New York City Streets
2. Long walks in nature (or at least in the park)
3. Excellent dinner with a good friend in a quiet restaurant
4. Music and Laughter
5. My family
6. My belief that the world can become a better place
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
People and why they do what they do. The state of our world and hoping we can improve it for our grandchildren.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Babysitting for my granddaughter so my son and his wife can have a date night.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
This will have to wait till we know each other better....
